Tell me whats wrong and I can decide if I should delete the game or the soft marked as "prohibited".
Yeah... that's not going to happen. If your software breaks their rules, they are not a petty girlfriend and give you an ultimatum, "it's us or them" they are going to enforce their rules. D2 detects what is running at the time d2 is running and if it is even a possible threat to d2, it sends the notice to SRT to confirm and enforce.
Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, autofire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific.

They are doing shit. Because they are forcing users to use a PC as a gaming console. I admit that it is proudly accepted by mostly all "gamers". But not by all people playing games on PC.
-
they aren't forcing you to use a PC. You don't want a ban, play it on console. Easy solution
They are doing shit. Because they are forcing users to use a PC as a gaming console. I admit that it is proudly accepted by mostly all "gamers". But not by all people playing games on PC.
Their game, their rules. They warned everyone not to be running unsupported programs/software or risk being banned.
-
I see the same nicknames in all threads about bans. Guys stop. I understand your opinion. You are proud of your ban system.
-
It is Bungie's ban system. We do not work for Bungie so it is not "our ban system", but we know the policy and there are plenty of PC players who do follow Bungie's rules and haven't been banned. You chose not to follow their article about not running unsupported software and you paid the price.
-
You do work for Bungie even if they do not pay you. Think about it.
-
You do work for Bungie even if they do not pay you. Think about it.
Believe what you want.
-
Read their list of not approved software, they do not want anything that can impact their game... cheats, aimbots, hacks, debuggers, etc. If you cannot play a game without any unapproved software while playing a game, that is on you.
-
It is on me. But the community should know that this game is a special made by a special team which thinks that they are the cleverest guys in the world to invent that insane ban system. I say again, I have more than one popular game installed on and the only one outstanding D2 want to attract my attention by permanently banning my account.
-
So the other games don't care about cheaters and some how that's Bungie's fault?
-
Edited by Player: 6/19/2018 2:42:52 PMI do not think that Blizzard does not care about cheaters in OW. Bungie's fault is that they permanently ban people which do not use cheats.
-
Except they don't.
-
Most of the community on PC already understand that Bungie has strict rules about software running. Sorry if you did not read the policy prior to running it.
-
Thank you for pushing an idea to google "Bungie bans". Looks like it is not the first "accident", and in October they said that there were an erroneously banned accounts. It's funny.
-
yup, 4 from the beta. That was before they put their 2 step system in place, not one overturned since. Pretty sure your account does not meet the criteria.
-
Looks like it is not the first "accident", and in October they said that there were an erroneously banned accounts.
Here we go again. Back to the "they overturned 4 bans that were accidents" argument. Look, that was during beta. Bungie had a different system during beta and out of 400+ bans, it accidentally banned 4 players that had to be overturned. Get that? That is less than 1% were an accident due to the old system during beta. Bungie admitted to the error, reversed 4 bans and ONLY 4 bans and fixed the detection system and process. You bringing that issue up as your argument is moot because it is not related to yours. You admitted you had other software running.

Please, stop copy-pasting your replies. Save your time. I TOTALLY understand your position. Thank you
-
Please, stop copy-pasting your replies. Save your time. I TOTALLY understand your position.
Then you please stop creating a thread about being banned and arguing on it when you know exactly what caused it and you know Bungie is not going to discuss it and will not overturn it.
-
Edited by Player: 6/18/2018 9:31:55 PMI do not know what exactly caused. I still think that it is not right to ban without reason. And every person who was banned with no reason just playing the game should create a post here. Then the game team may be will think better. This is my opinion.
-
You just admitted that you run mining and vpn software which are not allowed by bungie to run when you are playing destiny. So you know exactly why you were banned, you just don't like it.
-
You really think that mining and vpn soft are listed in ToS as prohibited? Honestly I have no idea, but I think it does not.
-
I do not know what exactly caused. I still think that it is not right to ban without reason.
Did you not say this?
I have a mining software installed. I have a vpn enabled off and on. But who cares? This is my PC. Tell me whats wrong and I can decide if I should delete the game or the soft marked as "prohibited".
You sure did. You admitted having software that is unsupported.
And every person who was banned with no reason just playing the game should create a post here. Then the game team may be will think better. This is my opinion.
Look, there are plenty of PC gamers who pay attention to what they have running and have no issues. You obviously, by your own admission, had something else running. Just admit you messed up and stop blaming Bungie for you not heeding their policy about it.
-
So you telling me that mining software is unsupported? And it is described in TOS? Does VPN software supported? I think you are trying to convict me in a cheating or something else. You are wrong. This is my home PC without any shit. And I am not trying to run some "wrong" software. Just every day soft. And as I said, this is shitty behavior to force me using a PC as a play station. This is wrong.
-
got an idea genius….use a playstation as a playstation. The game plays on Xbox and playstation and was originally created for them.
-
Well, you had something running that shouldn't have been because as I have already said twice before, there are plenty of PC players here that run the game without issue.
