Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you alive from Coldridge Prison, where I’ve been accused of some ridiculous made up crimes such as “breaking & entering”, “theft”, “murder”, and “regicide”. Just what will they come up with next? Hahaha. Anyway, while I wait for these guys to judge my alleged “treasonous crimes against the state”, let’s talk about super powers! Every Dishonored protagonist has had one thing in common; a connection to the Void (usually through the Outsider’s Mark) which grants them magical powers. Every set of powers has its strengths & weaknesses, but which is the best largely comes down to personal preference. And that brings us to our tl;dr! Tl;dr? Here’s my point! Favorite powerset from the Dishonored franchise? *note; this refers specifically to supernatural powers, not things like Foster’s Hook Mine My answer:
My favorite teleport ability in terms of use goes to Meagan’s Displace. With Foresight, it’s a very versatile skill. However, in terms of look, it definitely goes to Emily’s Far Reach. My favorite power overall has to be Shadow Walk. It’s a very useful tool for sneaking up on enemies, and its near-instant knockout’s amazing if you don’t have Strong Arms x4. Overall, Emily wins, for me. Domino, and Shadow Walk, are amazing for stealth, and I prefer Far Reach to Blink, for its item grab.
• Before dishonored 2 came out I'd say daud because of the stopping time with his blink. But since Corvo got that in dishonored 2 I'd say corvo

      • Question for ya. I'm quite interested in giving the Dishonored games a shot seeing how I've never played one. Is it recommended that I play the first before the second?

        • Emilies. It makes you have to play a little safer and it's more interesting than Corvo's. Also being able to grab stuff or people with Far Reach is awesome.

Emily is my all round favorite but I do love Corvo's Blink too.

              • I like Corvos the best. Dark Vision is like the most useful thing ever if you’re like me and try to do purely stealth all the time. Being able to see where the enemy is is a stealth players dream come true. Blink is also my preferred navigation power. I like that it’s instant, and enemies can’t see you when you use it like with Far Reach. And when it’s upgraded to where it stops time when you use it and stay still, it’s so helpful getting out of sticky and dangerous situations when you’re about to be seen. I guess by that logic I like Dauds Blink equally as much, since it does the same thing. Stop Time is also great for setting up executions, making a great escape/entrance into an area without being seen, or saving yourself from a tough fight with a large group of enemies. It’s the ultimate safety net when you’ve made a mistake, or the ultimate assassination helper. Similarly, possession is a good back up if Stop Time isn’t available for whatever reason. You can walk right through an enemy checkpoint. Also good for getting into areas through alternate means. Whether that be holes in the wall as a rat, or grates underwater as a fish.
