I seem to have found a solution, or at least I played as long as I ever have without crashing. Even ended the session myself because I was tired.
If you have not already, you may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure you have updated your drivers to their most recent versions and accepted all Windows updates
- Delete your existing CVARS.xml file using the guide here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46407
To clear CVARS, players must:
Close Destiny 2
See file directory: \Users\USER_NAME\Appdata\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\
Select and delete the CVARS.xml file in this directory
Relaunch Destiny 2
