This raid has, by far, been the most punishing one yet. I have a long list of complaints about the Pleasure Gardens in particular, a few of which being: 1) Beasts can see you when they shouldn't be able to (such as a prism-holder directly above them, or them turning around and making a beeline for the pollen-holders when they're nowhere near it or its line of sight). 2) Beasts can't see you when they should be able to (such as when it bounds right into the middle of the group of pollen-holders and somehow doesn't detect any of them). 3) After killing three or four beasts, the others grow "restless" before the group have a chance to leave the safe room. Point #3 heavily restricts the strategies you can employ to complete this section, and the first two mean that even if you do everything perfectly, you can still get shafted out of your victory. All that said, I was willing to try again for the sake of obtaining loot afterwards. Except now, according to the info I've gathered from my experiences so far, youtube videos, and these forums, the loot drops in this raid are an absolute shit show. You have a VERY low chance of getting any raid gear whatsoever outside of the final boss, and after beating the whole raid, you'll only have enough tokens to get a single engram from the new NPC. Granted, those engrams are guaranteed raid gear, but only one? Seriously? Not to mention the raid exotic, which not only requires the raid be completed, but also requires: 1) Tokens (different from Calus Tokens, but obtained in the same way) to be collected in the Raid, a full raid's worth of Tokens only getting you to 9% on the progress bar, meaning 11 raid completions are required for this step. 2) Prestige Mode Raid Completion. The Normal Raid is brutal enough, Prestige Mode is probably going to be even worse. This raid drove me to breaking point and beyond yesterday, and after finding all this out about the raid rewards? I don't see the point in even bothering with this anymore. So I'm asking the Community, what do you think? Are the potential rewards worth the challenge? Or is it too much effort for too little in return?
