How can I find the missing DLC codes for my son's Taken KIng: Legendary Expansion disk?

My son is ten. He got the Taken King: Legendary Expansion disk from a buddy for his birthday in May. He's doing great at it! Keeps kicking butt in crucible matches with higher-level players. But when we get to the DLC content we're locked out. Apparently we should have a download code that came with the disk, but I've scoured the contents of the disk box and there's nothing. The game came shrink-wrapped, the friend's parents who gave the gift say they got it at Target. Maybe we misplaced the paper with the codes on the day he unwrapped it (I guess that's possible) but I don't know. Meanwhile is there any kind of customer service I can talk to about getting access to the content that was supposed to come with this version of the game? I assume our copy has a unique serial number so they ought to be able to tell that no one has used our codes to get into the DLC - is there any way to get the codes so he can play?

Hello. You have two options here. The first is to speak to Target about exchanging the game since the codes are missing - that being said, you could run into issues with expired codes if you were to receive a replacement copy. The other option is to purchase Destiny: The Collection from your console's store. This includes the base game and all DLC. Unfortunately, Bungie cannot provide replacement codes. DMHTosh posted a picture of what the code sheet looks like to aid in a search for it.

Hey there GDSwamp, Sadly there is nothing we can do here on the help forum, you'll have to contact Target and hope they will replace the code or look through your house for the card that has the codes on it. Here's a link to a photo of what the card looks like to help your search. http://i.imgur.com/pu6rP4t.jpg
