Oh, hello. *closes book*
I didn't see you there. You may know me as The First Aifos, and I am here from my library-
Okay hold up, who wrote this script?
Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you alive from my favorite Plane of Kaladesh, with my soon-to-be-former script writer Harumph! By the way, Harumph, you're fired.
Harumph: "CRACK! That is the sound of my heart breaking."
Well geeze, now I just kind of feel bad. But, not bad enough to rehire you, security, please remove Harumph from the premises.
Papika: "Okay! Don't worry, Harumph, we can go buy ice cream! Aifos, can I borrow some money?"
Seriously, why do I pay you..? Fine, just bring me back a vanilla.
Anyhow, exposition aside, I've been getting back into Magic: The Gathering lately. While the digital version's fun (get Magic Duels! It's free!) nothing can beat a good ol' fashioned card game! Below, I'll explain what each color's strength is, and further below that I'll explain my answer!
Red:
Red magic is about doing damage indirectly. Creature abilities, fire, sorceries, fire, instants, fire, and of course MORE FIRE!
Why bother tearing down an opponent's defenses, when you can BURN THEM ALIVE before they have one.
Blue:
Counter enemy cards, make them lose their deck before yours, draw more cards, and draw the ones you want.
Blue magic is about the mind, and setting up plots much more elaborate than they should be, and making your opponent lose with full HP by running out of cards.
Fun!
Green
Heal yourself, heal your monsters, make your healed monsters really big, and smash everything! With your land cards!
Green magic has really big creatures, that are great at smashing things! It also has a lot of healing, and destroying enchantments, but smashing things!
Survival rule 781: There are always more Scut Bugs.
White:
Strike first, and knock down their defenses before their defenses are even up! Heal yourself, rally your army! Apart you are weak, together..!
You're still pretty weak.
Mainly about buffing up weaklings, healing, anf striking before your opponent can defend.
Black:
Dead is just another term for servant. Kill everything, bring it back, kill everything some more, bring it back, then kill everything! Better top it off with some more killing, too!
Zombies! And.. Demons, too, but mostly zombies! And I guess vampires.. Zombies!
Null:
More of a subtype. Uses other mana, and usually supports other colored decks.
Tl;dr? Here's my point!
Favorite MTG color?
My answer:
I like Red/Black decks the best. I would say Null, by my Null decks are usually (technically) Red/Black.
Between the two, Black is more fun, but I'm better with Red.
