Lol why though it's a good joke. Batman is awesome because he doesn't have super powers. Would he get shit on by Doom guy or chief of course, but what if he came up with some crazy way to win. I love Batman because he has to use his mind and resources to win a fight, he can't just run faster or punch harder when the shit hits the fan. It's fun to say he can solve any problem or beat any enemy with his mind.
I'm sorry, but as much of a cool character he is, and a lot of things he does, as much of a joke it is, and as "likely" he is to win, he can't. I totally get that, I too think he's a great character. It's just that there are things he can't do. Even with prep time. In any real situation if batman wanted even a chance in the slightest to win he'd have to get some of the JL to help.
I completely agree, the reality is, for a comic, Batman is actually incredibly grounded, the majority of his enemies are just people, crazy, insane, twisted people, but people none the less. When he's with the JL his job is really to act as a team leader and provide battle tactics and analysis. He couldn't cope with the majority of enemies in most of the other DC comics by himself.
But that's what I'm saying, he's grounded. For people to even joke about things like being able to easily win against reality shifters just because of prep time is just absurd to me.
