I deleted the game from my PS4 Pro and it's downloading now...if that doesn't solve anything I'll restore the game license.
-
Hello again, Have you tried clearing the cache as instructed prior to the re-installation? As this should solve the issue you were experiencing. Restoring your licenses simply does what it says. "Restore License" for all games and apps.
Press and hold the PlayStation button on your controller. Select "Turn Off PS4". Let the PlayStation 4 to fully power down and wait for 10 to 20 seconds. Restart the PlayStation 4.
Sincerely, Nathan

Restored licenses, deleted the game and re-downloaded the game, cleared cache, etc.

Hello again, If either of the following instructions I gave you worked, then please try this: 1. Completely remove Destiny including all DLC's from the console. 2. Restore your licenses. 3. Re-download the game alongside all DLC's. This should fix the error you've been receiving. Sincerely, Andrew

Edited by keezdawg: 5/28/2017 10:20:55 AMI appreciate your help but I have already done that. I think it's Bungie server side.

Hello keezdawg, I think I might have a way around this issue regarding your
Friends List Is Completely Grayed Out....Day 3
issue. It may require a hard reboot of your console. Here is a quick guide. 1). Press and hold the power button on your console for >20 seconds, the console will power off but still hold for >20 seconds 2). Unplug your console and leave unplugged for >2 minutes 3). While unplugged, again press and hold the power button for >20 seconds 4). With the console unplugged, unplug both your router and your modem 5). Leave them unplugged for the full >2 minutes 6). Plug back in your modem, wait for it to sync ~1 minute 7). Plug back in your router, wait for it to sync ~1 minute 8). Plug back in your console, turn on but DO NOT put disc in yet 9). Get to the main screen, put disc in and attempt to play Hopefully, this will resolve your issue. Good luck. Sincerely, Johan

Please stop. This is a known issue on Bungie's end

Hello Preds_Fan, As Community Volunteer, it is my duty to at least try to help people with any technical issues. This method is known to have worked for some players, and therefore I am willing to pass it on to other who experience the same technical problem. With all respect; I am just here to help people out, and no need to be rude to volunteers. Sincerely, glitttt Team.

Tried, didn't work. I honestly think it's a bug on Bungie's side that needs to be squashed.
-
Did this work for anyone else? I don't see how any steps with the router would solve the issue as I can see my in-game friends list in every single game other than Destiny.

Hello again, Yes. It might be on Bungie's side. But could also be on yours and/or Playstation's or Xbox. (Depending on your console). Hopefully, a way to resolve this error will be available in the near future. Sincerely, Johan
