That isn't the kind of game that destiny is. The crucible is supposed to be justified by secured areas, and every no and then some enemies appear. How on earth would they be able to explain maps CREATED by the community? Sure, they could say they were new crucible arenas, but I highly doubt that amy player could make as high quality maps as bungie has.

Have the community-created stuff be virtual simulations?
-
Maybe... but I'm not sure that technology in the destiny universe is that advanced.
-
We harness the Vex's ability to simulate outcomes That would be the only way.
-
But how could we do that? The vex are light years away from us in technology, we have no idea how to use their technology, much less harness it.
-
Who knows Bungie could find a way
-
-
That is NOT an explanation

Saladin said that, in theory, SIVA was a technology made to give a civilization everything they could ever need. Civilizations tend to need buildings and structures. I'm just thinking that the grid-like aesthetic of SIVA would be perfect for enabling a Guardian to build multiplayer arenas.
-
Hmmm... Ok. That actually could be a cool way to make SIVA work. I think it's unlikely, since the splicers don't seem to want to let go of it, and Lord Saladin,Lady Efrideet and the vanguard probably think it's too dangerous.
-
Yea, wherever they go, I just want to see what they are offering for Destiny 2
-
Me too, I'm excited both for that and AoT. But, as Deej said, "One milestone at a time, guardians." Let's focus and enjoy destiny 1 and Age of Triumphs before moving on to destiny 2.

For once I have found someone who isn't angry at Age of Triumph.
