Option 2 would win btw
Edit: I'm surprised with what the poll showed

If a team can control their spawn and the 2nd zone it doesn't matter. I've seen really good teams get crushed by randoms. A lot of sweaty 3v3 players suck at 6v6 PvP with a secondary objective pvp. It comes down to communication and good team work. I've been on teams where players (who do nothing but trials) were too worried about getting 20+ kills....but seem to forget about those 15+ deaths.

Neither. A mix of both would win
-
9 RepliesSweaty team would use Mida/hawsaw/DoP/GoM 1k/long bow And harrowed quillims terminus You know it's true Also they'll probably use Titan with shoulder charge The objective team Would use What ever suits them or that applies for the match Also the supers to match the game

1 ReplyThe coordinated team generally wins whether that consists of sweaty players or objective players. If the objective players have any decent gun skill they should be able to control two zones and win.
-
Sweaty players. I pubstomped in control capping not one zone and still won by 5k. If you cap, and you cant kill shit, theres no point in capping because you cant kill to get points. You "objective players" should be grateful to have sweaty slayers on your teams.

Sweaty player no contest
-
A team of 2.0 KD players would easily beat a team that only captures zone. There is no argument there.
-
Objective oriented players that throw themselves at zones will be demolished by sweaty players that kill anything that moves... If you can slay well, you can clear a zone, grab the spawns near it, and easily cap it uncontested. Then move on and do the same to the next. As long as you hold 2/3 zones, and kill, you will win.
-
The guy who can cap a zone and cap anyone who tries to stop him. Or the guy who doesnt rush into a target rich enviroment thinking they will cap a zone continously by themselves. I have been both at different times haha
-
An objective player that cause more deaths to themselves than they have kills are doing more harm to the team than anyone else.
-
4 Repliescontrol isn't about KD, and believe it or not, it's not about capping zones. both are factors, yes, but it is called control for a reason. in the ideal scenario, no one on the winning team would have more than two captures, because they captured two zones, and +gasp+ controlled them. running in all rambo jenkins and getting a capture point, only to die and have it taken back, doesn't help the team at all.
-
2 RepliesCap, control, kill... Though it's listed first here is ultimately the least important. Facts. It's rare, but I've been in games where guys were basically playing Clash instead of Control and just losing zones like crazy. However, these guys did not fool around with the gun skills. We stayed either in the lead or right behind the other team right up to almost the end when they finally started to take my lead and cap some damned zones. Capping zones ain't that hard. Give me the sweaty players. I'll cap the zones myself, AND go positive while doing so. Control is still about killing things folks. The objective is directly tired to...KILLS. Don't believe me? Look it up, lol.

Schweaties bois.

People who play the objective sometimes have a habit of standing in the zone even when its extremely dangerous. Theyd probably die first and from that point the sweatys would trap them in their spawns.
-
Edited by RedWineHangover: 7/13/2016 3:13:59 PMThe sweatys would win for sure. Because you can have a good kd as well as playing the objective (and if you kill people before they can cap zones, the 'objective player' has no advantage)
-
Match would end in a draw. [Engage dance emote of choice]
-
ME, IF YOU WANT TO WIN OBJECTIVES 6V6 THEN AM YOUR MAN..... -blam!- kd, grab 2 points and bottle neck the enemy into there spawn.. but you get dicks who attack the spawn and spawn flip so you have to do all the hard work again... idiots
-
I know it is called control but the question you are asking is who would win if one of the teams could out gun the other team.
-
4 Replieslol, excellent gun skill & Destiny.

1 ReplyEdited by Shigure Rangetsu: 7/13/2016 5:48:43 AMThe sweaty team would dominate. Chances are the "objective players" wont even b able to control or cap 2 zones. Sweaty team will have complete map control n wont need to cap B to win. If it comes down to it the sweaty team would prolly cap zones if it came down to it and it looked like it would b close the sweaty team would cap zones and would do so with ease This is all in theory but if u have a team that just tries to cap zones but dont have gun skill vs a team of "sweats" with good gun skill then the sweaty team will win 100% of the time

Edited by TheOtherGuy: 7/13/2016 5:51:20 AMThe 6 man sniper team. Crouching in a corner and hardscope all the time and doesnt give shit about the objective. Like in every game mode.

2 RepliesShameless self bump

one of the last games of control I played on my titan i got 28 kills 10 deaths and captured 6 zones..we still lost lol
-
A good mixture. You need a few killers to clear areas so zones as easily taken back when lost.
