I think you've got a good framework here. Obviously the buffs/points, etc. within the new 5v5v5 modes would need to be fine tuned, but Bungie is the only one with the data and power to do that, so you're good there. As far as the game modes themselves go, I think it could be really fun to have that many players on the ground at once, and to have three teams instead of two would be fun as well! The only problems I see are map choices (most maps on Destiny are already a bit cramped with 6v6 IMO, and the few with enough room to support 5v5v5 wouldn't be enough map variety to make it a consistently fun experience). Also, I'm a bit confused as to how the emblems would work. Can they be taken away after acquiring them? Can one emblem only be held by members of a single clan at one time? If so, what if all the emblems are taken and their holders don't play next week? Faction wars sound fun, and I might suggest that guns not available from vendors would drop as rewards. For instance, back in the day in Y1 weapons not all Faction guns were sold by faction representatives, so you could get a "The Chance" handcannon from FWC, even when Lakshmi didn't have one in stock. But that's just a suggestion. I don't have any complaints about Glimmer, but I don't have a problem with buying Legendary Marks with them. Hell, it might even make farming a bit easier to allow for more weapon purchases and/or make it easier for new Guardians to get their light up more quickly.
Again, I like the concept, and I think you've got some good ideas here!
Bump so you don't have to self-bump

And about losing the marks, the point i was trying to get at was that the only way a clan would lose their mark, is if they chose to pursue a new one or if the clan itself is disbanded. Also the Clan War Emblems would be unique per clan that won them, with the exception of clans who give them up in pursuit of a new one, which would return it to the selection of emblems available. However there would be a basic set of emblems to add a bit of flavor to cards/clan gear. Basic Emblems would include the Destiny Symbol and maybe a few other basics
