I think the post stands for itself. I feel as if the system in place isn't enough but that's just me. How does everyone else feel?

Probably needs to be stricter, but it's hard to tell what is real cheating and what is system lag. Destiny has had issues with pvp lag since the beginning. I guess to find lag switchers, you'd have to review when the lag occurred in games. Theater mode would allow the community to help with this. I remember a match in reach where someone used a lag switch to double spawn the beam rifle. It was pretty clear what was done to. Had 2 rush for the beam. The 1st picked it up and ran off. The other waiting about 5s then the game lagged for reconnect and he picked up the newly spawned beam rifle. The trouble with this will closely looking for patterns of lag that occur at opportune times. What they could do to stop this would be causing lagging connections to freeze in place or if the game lags across then freeze the game until it is stable. I think CoD uses the game freeze method. The only downside to this would be it being very punishing to players or teams who have someone with below average Internet. I suspect the current system to set to balance across all connection speeds to try not to give advantages based on internet speed. While this would seem somewhat fair, it also decreases the player experience. I've played on a bad connection before and it produces the same results as when you are the good connection playing against the bad. Bullets don't hit or they kill you way after you kill them. But regardless, things need to be improved.
