Cheating is comprising a far to large group of players in destiny. For whatever reasons rng, because they can, spite, little time. The effect is the same. It sux for the rest of us. I might be more inclined to trust bungie was serious about bans if they gave us weekly stats on how many people were banned, how many repeat offenders and the lengths of those bans. Honestly is it that big a deal to be banned a week or two for the rewards you get from going flawless in trials?

Edited by SgtLinKnOsiris: 8/29/2015 10:06:47 AMYou are assuming that bungievi$ion gives a f**k about fair game play. They just want to sell you the same old re-skinned sh*t that you paid for in year 1. Did you watch the very unimpressive strike they twitch streamed? SO MUCH is wrong with this super expensive piece of dog sh*t of a game. The time to kill on the game takes tactics out of the equation; getting thorned across the map with armor piercing poison burn rounds, having 2 classes of snipers that do the same thing (takes one head shot kill even though the impacts arent the same ... efrideet vs benevolence) even though one has way more impact, the armor mechanism is broken, or blink strikers with felwinters sniper, and the list goes on and on ... nothing will get fixed. Just keep giving them your cash and you will get some new emoticons and expressions in return, instead of content.

Makes me feel as if it's just worth it to invest in equipment and techniques to cheat then to try to play the game legit

Edited by SgtLinKnOsiris: 8/29/2015 10:11:27 AMOnce you throw down hundreds in cash ... and you still suck, you have no choice but to cheat in the game in order to salvage any enjoyment. Additionally, you can twitch stream and get viewers and make money and no one would be able to tell that you are running a computer in between your xbox and modem. Now a days, many cheaters guarantee people to the lighthouse for like 50 bux a pop; so plenty of icentives are there.

I totally agree. If you can't beat em, join em. Punishment is lenient enough
