Just in case any of you don't know, to sherpa is to help low-level players get through the higher level story missions and such. Usually I'll only do it if someone asks.

1 ReplyMe and my group have our clan name for a reason Normally, in Tuesday mornings or early afternoons, you might see me on LFG making offers to take people through Crota If enough of the group are on later we do the same with VoG I/we don't carry though, we don't expect you do have Gjallarhorn or anything really. What we do is teach the fight, mechanics etc. If anyone is feeling particularly brave, we let them take relic too. As for sword, if anyone wants to try, we do a quick demonstration, wipe then let them try. Again, we don't carry, we teach. I've seen too many posts where people who have never done it before and don't understand what's going on, have just been carried through with the bare minimum knowledge, rather than the team taking all of 5 minutes to explain it. I was sherpa'd through my first VoG, back when you were lucky to have legendries and if you had an exotic you were badass. Now I try my best to repay that kindness. Whether it's a raid or someone's first Nightfall. I'll even help with Trials, even if it's not my strong suit. This community already has a bad enough rep. I just try my best to change that. The only thing making it difficult is that I'm on 360 Once I upgrade, I'll be able to do it a lot more, but until then, I do what I can.
