Makes me wonder why guardians don't suffocate since outpost is clearly exposed to outer space which makes me wonder can we breathe in space and underwater and live forever if don't die to darkness.

Edited by Penhalion Wolfe: 7/27/2015 9:29:00 AMAny number of explanations for this. 1. There is a shield a few hundred meters out containing the atmostphere. 2. Artificial gravity field. One of those things in movies that is in-accurate is that atmosphere will vent from a ship with artificial gravity. It will not. A pressurised ship will leak because the pressure is pushing against the hull but, a gravity field will in fact hold a sphere of gas around it much like earth itself does. A small sphere with the same gravity and a similar magnetic field as earth will in fact hold an atmosphere around it. The magnetic field will serve to divert the solar winds which would blow the atmosphere off the surface of the sphere like a nuclear blowtorch. Science is fun sometimes.... Edit: You might want to watch out for the arora though...might be a tad close to you....
