The hunter Gunslinger exploit should be a bannable offence because the play is knowingly use a bug, glitch, whatever you want to call it to gain and advantage over the other players in game. To me that the definition of cheating therefor bannable.
Edit: This community is one of the worst communities ever. "Oh let use the broken game mechanic to our advantage because we suck at the game and can't play legit because we are horrible people"
-
2 RepliesIt's not a bannable offense because people who use swarm grenades will be unjustly banned. Why anyone would use them instead of trip mines is beyond me. But the glitch should be fixed because of the swarm grenades hits counting as kills. It's a cheap and quick way to get supers. I don't see why anyone would support something that is broken.
-
You're being a baby. This is not something to be banned over, it's legitimate. If bungie banned people over something that was their mistake how would that look?
-
You can't ask people if they think it is bannable, and then call them a horrible community that sucks at the game. Has Bungie issued a statement saying they are aware of the explout, and are working to fix it? Have they said that further use of this exploit will not be tolerated and or be punished? Until then it's safe to say it won't be banned.

Aww! The tears
-
Awww he's crying. :,)
-
I hate the glitch and it should be patched ASAP But it is not a bannable offense (maybe a suspension)
-
1 ReplyI don't think it's bannable but it needs to be fixed. It shouldn't be stackable. Or they should fix the swarm grenade
-
2 RepliesDid they ban people for doing the ether chest glitch? No? Then why should people get banned for using this glitch
-
3 RepliesI'm not understanding the glitch. The celestial helm has a perk that you have to get a kill with the grenade to bring back your super. Even when you have the super you only have one kick arse bullet that does x 6 with keyhole.? You still need to land that grenade and get that kill plus hope your one shot hits what you are aiming at without someone blinking away. If I am missing something then please tell me, I don't want to be using something that I thought was the method of the helm then find out its reported. I have been using my blade dancer because of this issue lately

4 RepliesFor once a hunter gets a good advatage and its a bug that people bitch about but its ok for the warlocks to get thier super every two seconds. Retards.
-
People have no honor anymore. They'll do anything to screw that other person over to get their rewards, whether it requires exploiting, cheating, etc. It runs rampant in this community, which crushes me because I love this game. But if I can't go a game without someone trying to do some form of cheese/exploit, it makes it really hard to continue to want to play.

9 RepliesShould ban everyone who uses TLW too for exploiting it's broken perk too right?
-
To me its just funny seeing so many people use swarm nades now. Very rarely did ever see them until this exploit was brought to light, because without the exploit they are not very good. Probably one of the worst nades in the game.

2 RepliesEdited by xfaintBUNNYx: 6/15/2015 1:10:23 PMMy thing is I already at all times have a piece of gear with this perk . The perk is amazing for any nade . And now I'm supposed to be banned because I choose to use a nade that's designed to cut off pathways. ? When I equipped the swarm grenade was that the act of me cheating ? Or was it putting on my helmet ? Was it me actually throwing the nade that was cheating ? Cause I'm pretty sure those nades do like 9 damage per Lil swarm member so I'm pretty sure I was at a disadvantage. Now I just went in and played like I normally would any other time so Was it the time of day I played that was cheating ?. Or is that I'm popping 4 golden guns a game ? But wait I only seem to do that in the rounds I'm winning and killing. The rounds I don't get 2 or more kills don't change a thing. It only worked that way if I got wrecking balls and if I landed multiple nades a round . Which is hard cause those nades are easy to just walk around and past . I'm sorry but being good with nades and knowing how to perk yourself isn't cheating. What about these warlocks running voidfang on a sunsinger with Max burn grenade and killing themselves once a around just for the revive and two more nades knowing if the other team sees a player down they may rush and be crushed by the void fang sunflare nades . Cheap Or how about these team of 2 hunters and one lock with arc nades and solar flare nades that wipe your team in 12 seconds just by spamming the chain nades. Lol is that cheating ?

Never used it, never will. I am sure they will fix it soon ( as fast as they are fixing Necrochasm ).
-
No one will get banned. Bungie will fix it, and life will go on.
-
3 RepliesHow is it broken, my character has nearly zero intellect so how else an i gonna get 2 supers per game like everyone else?
-
4 RepliesBecause people have a different opinion than you, this community is the worst ever?
-
I never used this exploit on my hunter and i don't plan to use it in future either. i am playing this game for fun , exploiting things take away the fun fact.
-
It is a bug, it will NOT result in bans, to prevent this bug you have to restrict a guardians class, they aren't able to use the swarm grenade and Achlyophage, nighthawk, claws of ahamkara, or any legendary with the perk, this could prevent someone being level 34, which is not fair in trials. It IS a broken mechanic and DOES need to be fixed soon. You will NOT be banned for this. They WILL warn you in the NEXT weekly update if it is a ban worthy bug, but we all know that they know it's not an appropriate response to the issue.
-
8 RepliesSo what you are saying is, because bungie's shit is broke, I cannot use swarm grenades, orrrr certain armor, because of bungie's dumbass fault? Cool.
-blam!-ing idiot
-
Edited by Da_808_Lion: 6/15/2015 9:15:37 AMIt's complete unbalance. Even though you're utilizing perks perfectly, it's getting too unbalanced. Having that much super energy gained is ridiculous. I would still keep the way it is, but decrease the amount of super energy gained. Or give every class and subclass a chance at it.

7 RepliesEdited by LittleBigFoot12: 6/15/2015 3:02:20 PMThey didnt ban for cheesing and that was an exploit Edit:meant to put didnt instead of did lol
-
The only right solution I see with this glitch is that Bungie fixes the glitch it's simple and no one gets hurt, albeit some hunters may defend and whine the glitch was fine but still simple fix on Bungie's part
-
I knowingly use unmodified items the game gave me since day one...
-
You have to suck ass to want use this glitch. I've never seen a skilled player use it to their advantage, it's pretty hilarious how bad people are at throwing grenades.
