Just was frustrated that I had to farm for 2 hours to get my iron banner gear I worked hard for
-
1 ReplyLast Iron Banner, I spent and hour in the exclusion zone. This Iron Banner, I used all the House Banner's I saved in the vault. Glimmer is not a barrier, it's a waste of my time.
-
I have no issue with the cost. I do have an issue with the gear I did purchase disappearing from my inventory. Wasted nearly 10000 glimmer.
-
Instead of changing how you obtain, make what you get be better. For one you have to be high enough level to be effective- good armor and weapons. Make what you get in return better than what you had going in to it- a clear notch above exotic and raid gear.

Edited by Tzoedn: 5/5/2015 9:52:40 PMI did no grinding at all. I stopped cashing in the 200 glimmer consumables about 3-4 weeks ago, and have been riding near the glimmer cap. I didn't have to do any farming at all come monday. Granted was left with 300 glimmer after cashing all in for my final purchase. Total bought this week: 3 helmets 2 spears 1 chest piece 1 class item I also had to start upgrading one of the spears since I was capping out in the middle of the week again

9 RepliesYou're farming wrong then. I farmed for 1 hour to get the helmet, chest, Spear, and Lash. It's fine the way it is. The light level is the same as the raid, so it should be hard. I'm tired of people complaining that things take too long or are too difficult. That's the point for end game gear. It should be some what difficult to acquire. Hodor.

I personally think that they should increase the glimmer cap so that we could hold enough glimmer for anything we want to get instead of just two items with the glimmer cap.

Edited by fballguy: 5/5/2015 7:43:43 PMIron banner weapons are the best non-exotics in the game with the right rolls. (Silly marshmallow AR doesn't count.) there should be a lot of grind involved.
-
Don't change it we know how to farm glimmer it only takes 20-25 minutes for max glimmer and you don't even need max glimmer
-
Make it free or a token amount. Here's the thing: we all know how to farm glimmer. There's no challenge to it, aside from the boredom factor. So why make us?
-
4 RepliesCould be worse. You could have to farm for months just to get one piece of raid gear. I gladly farmed exclusion zone to buy all my iron banner gear. Still less time than raiding.
-
3 RepliesFrom now till the next iron banner save all the things you collect that give you 200 glimmer in your volt. I've been saving them for a while and was able to buy every item available for my warlock plus a 2nd spear without the need of farming glimmer.
-
We need a higher glimmer cap, problem solved
-
A guardian forearmed, is a more effective guardian. Save all the glimmer that you can. In parallel to this, also save the house banners and such like. Through this method, I had 25k glimmer, and another 50k in the vault. I did grind a little, but nothing backbreaking.
-
Keep the price, raise the glimmer cap so we can save up in advance.
-
1 ReplyDiscussion already going Sir.
-
1 ReplyI think the amount of glimmer is not the problem the cap is. They need to raise it.
-
2 RepliesThey just need to raise the glimmer cap.
-
It used to cost crucible marks. But the 100/week cap limited that.
-
I feel the pain. Exclusion zone was the most grueling part of IB. That said it took time and grinding and in a sadistic way I guess it's kind if gratifying.
-
Just slightly less. No item, no matter how powerful, should cost more than 10,000 Glimmer. And I'm not shelling out nearly a third of my max glimmer for a damn Shader.
