You all asked Bungie to be daring and make awesome additions, that's what they're doing, stop busting out the pitchforks, this is NOT the 18th century...
Maybe the Dev. team didn't think a raid would fit into the storyline, give them a chance, don't judge HoW prematurely like testosterone filled asshôles...give them a chance, and if it's boring on launch day, quit...
But for the sake of humanity's dignity, give it a fûcking chance!
Edit 1: I thank all of you for remaining composed and mature, however, any immaturity or hate will be muted...
Edit 2: The award for smartest person in the world goes to "handsome jack"
#satire
Edit 3: For those of you too dim-witted to figure this out on your own, I'm talking about the storyline that they may possibly add in HoW...

2 RepliesStopped reading @ fit into storyline. Hahaha haha haha Hahaha haha

Thinking about it, a raid don't fit in the storyline. Think about it. A raid would be you and 5 more guardians entering (not breaking in, since the queen is now your ally) the Prision of Elders and killing the House of Wolves leadership. A giant shank, a big ass archon, a planet-size servitor and an Ultra+Major+General Kell (who doesn't even fit in the story, since the Queen killed him). Where is the fun in that? Make a raid with some more story, even if it takes much more time and effort to do it As for you, guardians who are reading and guardian who created this topic: You are the real destiny fan, if you like the dlc or not and still not giving up on the game. o/ I salute you

2 RepliesIn all honesty, I didn't see how a raid with the Fallen would work. The other raids have been more.. Uhm.. Mystical, I guess would be the right word. From going to different dimensions to time travel, the other raids have had magical properties. The Fallen don't seem to have these properties. Maybe a few well placed military traps and such, but nothing I could think of would be as grand a scale as the previous two. That being said, the Arena makes perfect sense. Fallen Honor against the Guardian's Strength. Their best vs our best. I can't say I like all of it, (I wish it was 6 player instead of 3. As of now, it seems like a glorified strike.) but it's what we're getting. Complaining won't change much, so I'll take the extra bit of "story" and load my guns.

If anything stop blaming bungie for activision's stupid policies. Can we honestly believe this is bungie's fault? These dlc releases operate exactly like cod. I don't think they're any happier about a lot of the content themselves than we are

Blame Canada!

They're not ringing out pitchforks, they're bringing out Cheeto/Dorito dust stained LARP swords :)

5 Replies365 Fatebringer That's all I need to know. The rest is just noise.

3 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 4/14/2015 11:43:42 AMI'm not too nuts about repetitive waves of enemies or yet ANOTHER damn PvP event after we had six Iron Banners in a row, but that's just me. Unless Bungie works some magic and goes the distance in making a full, thorough, satisfying story within HoW's campaign missions, it'll be a flop for me.

10 RepliesEdited by Don Draper 714: 4/14/2015 2:18:20 PMAnything u could of possible made sense about became irrelevant the moment u said "fit into the story line". I have to mute this kind of dumb shit.

9 Replies"... a raid didn't fit into the story line" Which storyline you simpleton? Are you a fanboy by chance?

3 RepliesNice. I don't why people cry about no raid but if a raid actually came, they would start crying about the glitches. It will be fun trying something new I'm looking forward to it

1 ReplyEdited by Imladris: 4/14/2015 3:08:15 PMIf I had been the person who wrote and developed the game and they changed everything or didn't add things I deemed necessary, I would pretty upset but, you know what? I didn't. And neither did anyone on these forums. I've never seen such a mess over something so trivial. I'm just happy to get something new. I like the game. I've liked it from the start and I'll continue to like it with the next DLC.

3 RepliesGood luck. this forum is toxic, and this will probably bring out the worst. Look at the bright side though, this will help us all find the people that need to be muted.
-
2 RepliesHigh 5 well said. I'm stoked about it. I like raids but I feel like dropping a raid with every DLC would become monotonous. I'll enjoy the game all the same

9 RepliesLol bump

3 RepliesI wipe my ass with $20 cause I dont work at Mcdonalds so im not worried about lack of addable content

Let's hope there is an actual storyline this time. Somehow TDB had an even WORSE way of telling it's story than the main "story" (seriously, no cutscenes. WTH.).

1 ReplyFor real. People gotta take a chill pill

3 RepliesLet's pray there actually is a storyline otherwise How I care about story thus far QUEEN: hey my pet fallen rebelled GUARDIAN: and? QUEEN: go hunt them for me! GUARDIAN:... Why? 1 ReplyEdited by Nintentard: 4/14/2015 1:15:49 PMI stop reading at "storyline". Don't kidd yourself, get ready for another overdramatic disembodied voice.

3 RepliesEdited by Un1337ninj4: 4/14/2015 2:09:08 PMI've seen your posts often as of late, the few I do not agree with I tend to have an appreciation for the presentation of your perspective. You have my upvote. In this instance I remember a hell-a-lotta feedback requesting a Horde mode, if done right I'm very inclined to test and observe before jumping on the rage bandwagon. That-said I first read your title and I do look at me, and I see my brand new an' tasty Visible Hand. I'll be damned if I'm not all giggly aboot it.

2 RepliesI'm hoping they took this opportunity to lay some patches in this games foundation (story, varying activities, various upgrade paths). If I was trying to do that, I would not concentrate on a raid either- they are essentially separate from the general game experience. Assuming they are doing that, this is the right move to keep this game going.
