Season Shattered Realm problem
First, let me say that the season content has been surprisingly good/fun. I have a couple issues but overall; awesome job.
The solo shattered realm content (no matchmaking) is fun and interesting (not too hard to solo). There is one bug that keeps happening to me, particularly when I searching for secrets. I keep ending up with respawn points that are too far off the edge of something, so I can't recover and have to restart the shatered realm again (im already falling when I respawn).
Really the only other thing I have seen that bugs me is "Contenders Delve" seasonal challenge that requires a Legendary lost sector completion. I tried the legendary lost sector I could find (don't remember where) and there seems to be no way I can finish it solo.
My Warlock is my main and I mostly only play him. I also only play solo, Im in a guild but I have literally never spoken to them once. I'm not the BEST player certainly, but I don't suck either. I figure with over 3000 hours in Destiny 1 & 2, my inability to solo content is a pretty fair indicator its beyond the ability for most solo players. [i]Plus you just kind of know when thats the thing in the way. It's just an attrition factor, yes you can kill everything, but they will always wear you down eventually.[/i]Note: I also don't cheese/hack/cheat [b][i]ever[/i][/b].

Update: Just tried Bay of Drowned Wishes at Legendary. 100% Bullshit- Gear lock and 3 revives as a limitation for a Solo Player??? BUNGIE, you know thats not happening. Maybe if your flush with RAID gear. But most solo players never get those items. Maybe if you play flavor of the month builds, that are barely better than exploiting, but I don't.
Look through your stats Bungie. See how many players EVER solo that content, at Legendary, that don't also have a stack of raid completions. I dare you.

1 ResponderYou being bad is not a metric to measure the entire solo playerbase. I dont want to be mean, but the vast majority of solo players can do legend lost sectors. Some of them are "hard", some of them are not. Just use champion mods. Thats it. Not hard. Play smart. Dont run in like its a strike.

2 RespostasI play Warlock, too. Try Chamber of Starlight when it comes around. It’s very easy to do solo by standing off and killing everything before it sees you. I did it with Pulse, Sniper, RL, I think, since it was unstoppable/overload. You get an extra revive for each champion you kill, so the lives aren’t bad. You can pretty much ignore the timer, except at something like 15 min you no longer get revived. I did it in 10 being super cautious. Surprisingly, Concealed Void is easy to solo except the one overload Captain you need to go toe-to-toe with to beat.

3 RespostasHave you been trying legendary lost sectors the previous seasons? seems strange you say long-term player but sound like new to them? anyway, I’m one of the oldest players around (71!) and I beat most of them OK. Slowly. Have all the previous new exotics on all three characters but just got back to the LSs recently. It’s a downtime activity for me - no pinnacle to chase, just experiment with loadouts to beat the LS. Don’t forget burn modifiers - +50% damage just for using a certain element is no joke!

5 RespostasSo I just re-equiped my warlock fought all the way to the 'end' of Bay of Drowned Wishes. Past the 'champion' bs bosses that look like scorn with antlers in tutus. I get into the cave, but ooh not fast enough, bungle takes away the revives i manage to hold onto. Fight my way in, past the even more trash mobs. Kill what I thought was the final boss.... Nope, have more trash mobs says bungie. Which I didn't have life left to handle having just took out the baby boss with my sword and a sliver of life. Do you understand what you built here bungie? Its not 'harder' it doesn't 'challenge' any one. What you built here is a simple stupid 'AND' gate. Have 3 players, you can do this. If you don't its nearly an automatic no-go. There is nothing 'extra' in the legendary version, just more griefer garbage and enemies that overwhelm you. But even then it not enough to keep us all out so you add bs like limited respawn and then even take that away if we are not fast enough. The more I think about it the simpler it gets. The only truly multiplayer part of Destiny is the part that was multiplayer in Halo, and Marathon before that. The PVP The rest is just artificial nonsense. Thats why Bungie can't play balance for crap. The single player portions of Destiny would be amazing, probably all of them, if they had just called them single player and calibrated them for that. We have been doing Nightfalls just fine with matchmaking. Quit catering only to the people who hop through your lemming maze bungie. The rest of us want the end game loot too. Give us matchmaking for all content. Or at least, give us unlimited respawn if we are solo.

I dare you.[/quote] It can be but if you lighten your screen up a bit you'd see that you shouldn't try to jump there, if you really don't try to go a way they they didn't mean for you to go you'd be fine but once your out there yeah there's issues with the respawning, but of all 3 versions you don't need to be jumping where you are experiencing these issues. Stick to the main paths I've nearly completely found everything got the seasonal trump done. When i was tryin to climb up a mountain that i want supposed to be climbing from there is the only time this happened. Now that i know the way to go i won't have that issue again. Its very dark, there are some cool things they added in this new one with the crazy cache passcode with the bubble. Not a Pinnacle even the first time?? Why not i say. Could give us a matter work season hand cannon of 5 different rolls. They got a little selfish in that spot

This list sector should be doable at 1320 for mid skilled player
