Losing a gun completely (including inside the collection area)
I was sorting my guns in my inventory and I realized that my legend of acrius didn’t have all the perks that I grinded for. I ask my friend if it happened to him and he said it didn’t and to dismantle it and get it back from the collection to see if it fixed. When I dismantled it and when to the collection, it showed that I never owned it so I couldn’t get it back.
Is there a way to fix this or did I lose it completely?

If you didn’t have the perks on it then you didn’t technically have the completed gun

Simple... you did not complete the quest and did not get the finished gun. You got the version which was to allow you to continue the quest not the finished item. As the Leviathan has been removed you can only find the completed version now in the exotic kiosk.
