Dungeons should give spoils of conquest

For players that don’t play with others or just want to solid stuff u should make it so dungeons give spoils.

  • So personally I can see both sides of this argument. I think I'd stand with the "Yes" Group but with certain things, like a lessened amount of currency for dungeons. For those who are against it, I'd understand for things like GoS and DSC raid exotics since those raids are available. But keep in mind there are players who don't like to raid, or god forbid, are burnt out on raids. There's someone I know running on 30ish clears of Last wish with nothing to show for it in regards to 1k It doesn't decrease anything in value past killing 1 boss as you have no way to show you accomplished anything more (with the exception of divinity) as you can bs and say "ay I did x raid and it was tough" When in reality you did the final encounter or got carried etc. So there's no way in actually putting value in a weapon any more than a single encounter. At the same time, there are people I know (myself included) who ran scourge MANY times while it was here, and never got the exotic. But when beyond light dropped, I lost most of my clan to swapping of platforms, thus, I lost my capabilities to raid (I know LFG exists but I hate being the awkward quite one in a group cause I don't know anyone, and 8/10 always demand clears or experience with little willingness to teach) I've resorted to having to wait till next season to even raid because I want a group I can feel loose and easy-going with. That being said, the kiosk gave me hope that I could actually grab guns like Anarchy and Tarrabah which I unfortunately never got to drop when the raids were here. But then it was locked behind completing a raid... Which now was either super stressful, awkward to the point of being entirely uncomfortable, or otherwise impossible to achieve without out of bounds bugs or 10 weeks of grinding for 1 gun. So I know my story isnt everyone's but what I ask is for those of you who demand players play raids to get anarchy or Tarrabah which were part of much shorter raid activities more equitable to dungeons like prophecy sized, at least consider their perspective on it. And to those who are on the other side, don't antagonize them by calling it gate keeping, you just need to find a way to express the point without coming off as not wanting to try, and moreso that you just want an alternative if you don't have a 6 man group on call every week. Tl:dr I think this is a good idea, but definitely scale the currency down, maybe even half it. But the two raids the kiosk exotics cane from, may I remind you, were some of the shorter raids, much shorter than last wish at least, so to demand players only gain the currency via the longer raids, while not always purposely, can be seen as a form of gate keeping, in it's general sense of, "you don't deserve to have this unless you do it THIS way"
