These blue engrams need to be removed from playlist activities and anything designed around difficulty or heroic.
I can understand them dropping in the wild but when you complete Gambit, Nightfalls, Crucible and whatever else that is requiring you to do lengthy activities, blues should never drop period.
I can see them dropping from regular chests on the planets, randoms dropping as you are playing the game and sometimes from regular public event chests but if someone is in a playlist activity or heroic, you should not see them.
You should be getting rewards from playlist activities such as:
One Legendary Armor
One Legendary Weapon
Additional Legendary when using a Ghost Mod
Possible Exotic
Rank 100+ should be rewarding you with materials, glimmer, bright dust and XP. You could even throw in some legendary gear and exotics too.

Nah, loot payout is fine IMO. We just need auto-dismantle for blues, drop rates for legendaries and exotics are ok atm

What? You don’t like only blues after a raid, iron banner or so on? That’s craaaaaaaaaazy. Go to a different game if you don’t want your time wasted
-
Would this not effect our upgrade materials? To be honest I’m finding the whole in game economy very tedious and time consuming, with zero options to farm these items efficiently (blues being the only exception) What would be better would be an option to “delete all blues” or “purples” or “both” After playing outriders for a bit now it has highlighted to me how inefficient and tedious the destiny economy is.
-
To do that legendaries will have to drop more often to compensate as a reward for doing something. If you can’t handle that compromise then your just going to have to deal with the blues.
-
I was just using the Aachen in Iron banner last night it was awesome. Ambush scope, snapshot. Like a D1 sniper. The Azimuth too. A 120 with Kill clip hits for 120 haha
-
Or add auto-dismantle for blues
-
I agree with other comments I see, I like the blue engrams for weapon parts and glimmer, and also sometimes blue weapons can be decent.
-
There’s a problem with this. Like many others, I rely on those blues for glimmer. Seeing as legendaries don’t give them I use blues as my glimmer income. It should be optional. However gm nightfalls, raids and trials make sense.
nibbles crayon
I need those blues for glimmer. Bounties are quite expensive.

An option to turn them into weapon materials is sorely needed
