Pyramids sending us messages through a device? Check.
Pyramids causing nightmares, hallucinations, and disruption? Check.
Pyramids edging in on earth and devastating multiple worlds by mere proximity? Cheque.
Hostile alien forces arriving/stirring up and attacking Humanity? Check. Even the Hive becoming active on the Moon similarly and the Vex coincidentally coming back the same way on Europa is disturbing and feels very...revelation-like. Czech.
Signals vanishing as Pyramids draw closer? Check.
Its important to note that a collapse doesnt mean end of all life. Earth and some people did survive after all, and the population can't be much different than the after math where people were still being killed by Fallen with no safety a walled city could provide, and even then Twilight Gap and Red War didn't help matters.
I will say that we have fared a lot better since the first Collapse, where we got absolutely curb stomped by the Hive when Guardians weren't even a thing yet and the K1 crew got farmed for sword logic experience points on the Moon.
What's different this time around? Well, we know now that the Pyramids never wanted to destroy us--they provided the means to whoever would, if what they are telling us about their nature is true that is. We still don't know if the Pyramids began directly attacking with some kind of wicked death star laser beams or if the presence of hundreds of them caused some kind of death fog that killed billions.
In Revelation, we do know that the Pyramids did actively undo the Travelers work so maybe that does equate to utter destruction. It described the ground swallowing up everything, winds that were flattening cities, incurable plagues, and wet earth smelling monsters. Could these things have been caused by multiple alien races attacking at once though? 🤔

Editado por NeonPropose: 3/1/2021 5:38:41 PMThe Hive didn’t arrive in Sol until after the Collapse. And even then the first engagement or at least first documented engagements were The Battle of Burning Lake, which is well into the City Age, taking place before Twilight Gap but after both Six Fronts and The Great Hunt.

I was pretty sure we didn’t meet the hive until way after guardians were a thing, it was at the battle of the burning lake where they decided to charge straight back at them and shaxx wanted to wait and study their swords first because they didn’t realise they drained light and you wouldn’t be able to res. The moon stuff was that they went mad and saw their own nightmares and started killing each other

Yes, I agree. The Collapse did happen again.
