Bungie profile help
Hello,
Ok. I somehow many moons ago linked my PS4 and Xbox One accounts together back when cross-save was being introduced. My intent at that time was to give myself the ability to play on either not knowing that you had to choose 1 account to be active and not knowing about the 90-day wait if you canceled. I got rid of cross-save back then but left the two accounts linked. I have unlinked them recently intending on tying both separately to their own respective Steam accounts. However, when I unlinked them and then tried to log into this Xbox account (Jesco Fn White), I got the message to either create a new Bungie profile, link to an old one, or sign out. What can I do to unlink these accounts without losing access to my characters? What happens if I create a new profile for the Xbox account? Negatives? Thanks.

Hello. Your data is not tied to your Bungie profile, but it is tied to your platform account and of course, on Bungie’s servers. Your Bungie profile only holds purchased and special emblems and other minor stuff that came from Destiny 1. Anything you see in your code redemption history is what your profile carries. Since I see you still have your accounts linked to your profile, you are good to go. Cross save is a feature where you can play on one set of data to other platforms; their data becomes dormant. Since you deactivated cross save, you will need to wait 90 days before you can reactivate again.
