So for a few seasons now I've always wonder why haven't they added a Iron Banner Seal? Of course they bring it back like what twice a month or once a month but the seal can be a decent amount of triumphs really since it's always around. Another seal that would be cool would be a catalyst seal but it wouldn't get done until D2 is basically done which is probably why it never was an idea but they could add it into some other seals as triumphs really.
Any other cool ideas for seals that the community has thought of or talked about with people/friends?

Sherpa: Before the announcement of the DCV this was something I was suggesting where it’s focused around the guided games system

So far, we have gotten Seals based on Seasonal Content, Raids, Destinations, and some core game modes in the game. Here are some thoughts on what would be good additions, along with a list of bad additions based on some suggestions I've seen: New Seals: 1. Iron Lord: This would be for Iron Banner and can be done similar to Unbroken, where progress needs to be made over multiple seasons, getting kills/wins, completing bounties, collecting rewards, etc. 2. Slayer: This would be for general crucible gameplay and would focus on Mastery Crucible Triumphs. This would not require Glory, only Valor, basically an easier version of Unbroken, similar to how Dredgen is the easier version of Reckoner. 3. Commander: This would be the Strike version of Slayer, focusing on the Strike playlist, Strike challenges, and Nightfall Ordeal completions (this doesn't need to be Legend or Master). Given that the strike playlist is changing over time, this could be updated yearly similar to how Conquerer is updated every Season. 4. Lightbearer: This would focus on Account Triumphs associated with ability kills. This would not require completion on all 3 characters, just 1, but it would need to be pretty immersive (ie completing essentially all Account Triumphs on a class). I considered having one for each class, but I think that would be a bit much, although I would not be opposed to it. 5. Corrupted: This would be the equivalent of Lightbearer for the Darkness subclass. 6. Scribe: This would be the Chronicler equivalent for all new lore. List of Bad Ideas (imo) 1. Anything associated with collecting other Titles or Triumphs overall: For example, we don't need a title for someone who has 5+ seals or 100k+ Triumph Score. The main reason for this is that it doesn't really mean anything. If you have on a Blacksmith Title, I know exactly what you did to earn it. If you wear some ambiguous title that says you have 5 other titles, I have no idea what your accomplishment is, you could have all of the raid associated Titles, or all of the destination associated Titles. 2. Anything associated with Collections/Exotics: Not only are these already captured through Badges and Seasonal Titles, but there would inevitably be too many items that would be unobtainable season over season. This would lead to even more FOMO. 3. Anything tied to Seasonal events such as the Dawning, FotL, etc. This would be even worse FOMO than collections. Imagine a Seal that is only available for 3 weeks, then is gone for an entire year. I'm all for Triumphs linked to Seasonal Events, just not Seals/Titles.

Class specific seals

If they made class seals Like gunslinger etc i would never take them off. if I didn’t quit playing for personal reasons I would have 400,000 kills for gunslinger by now but i Think i have have around 380,000?

I need a title for death by architects or misadventures. Seen some crazy things lately.

I'd like to be able to join Ikora's Hidden and have a series of planetary missions we can do for her with a "Hidden" title that can be earned via them, it'd be a good way to replace Wayfarer now that's going away
-
Iron banner seal title: iron lord sounds pretty damn neat
-
Hidden. Could be attached to Ikora.
-
There should be a title forced onto players who don't have any unlocked: "Blueberry". Automatically becomes unavailable as soon as any seal is completed.
-
I’m biding my time until we get a “Crusader” seal. Or better yet: “Bard”
Sorry, all out of salt.
They need to stop making most new seals reliant on raids and out of reach for all solo players. They need to be much, much more inclusive. Have some raids seals but also have alternatives too. An Iron Banner seal is a great idea. As long as their triumphs aren't all...go in a team of six...go in a team of four.... because that's how their promotional and rewards model is firmly set up to be.

Weapon specific seals like “Swordsman/ Knight/ Swordsmaster etc”, “Sniper/ Marksman ”, “Cowboy/ Sharpshooter”, etc or something like that. What ever sounds most awesome for each weapon type. In one season get x number of guardian kills as well as x number of kills of enemies of each enemy faction, x number of boss kills, x number of kills with solar/ void/ arc, 10 kills of guardians in their super, x number of kills in crucible/ gambit/ strikes etc.
-
They should have seals assosiated with seasonal events. Like a dawning seal. This one is all about giving and such, so one of the requirements might be to help somebody get their first raid clear. Just some easier to obtain seals that still give players a reason to grind certain events.

Editado por Hu Tao: 9/29/2020 5:50:15 PMSeal for having 5+ seals. Call it Gamer.
-
Editado por Guardian3564: 9/29/2020 5:00:59 PMYeah I’ve always wondered why there’s no IB seal. It seems super obvious. They could have different tiers, like Iron Wolf and Iron Lord. Iron Wolf would be achievable for anyone with enough play time, and Iron Lord would have skill requirements.
-
Idea for a crucible title- It's more quickplay oriented (with a little bit of comp), that has a bunch easy, yet grindy, objectives. Like getting kills, resetting your rank, getting certain amount of kill with different weapons. Things that you do anyways by playing crucible, but with some challenging stuff too. And the title could be "Warlord" since shaxx is a Warlord.
-
Class specific seals. A titan one, a warlock one and a hunter one.
-
- Gambit has two seals, one easy and one difficult - Crucible has two seals, one grindy and one pinnacle - Vanguard only has one seal, easy to get and doesn't really show any dedication to strikes. I'd like a seal that requires something like 250 playlist strike completions, many strike boss kills of each faction, defeating enemies with every weapon type in strikes, etc. etc.

Played a cheater seal. Easiest seal to get in the game.

Iron banner seal title - “Iron Lord”
