Is it too much to ask for legendary tier rewards? I don't think it's going to unbalance the game if you guarantee legendary gear for winning matches.
Just Won a Gambit Prime match and my reward was 3 BLUES. And honestly, getting Blues is more of a punishment than a reward.
Unless I'm just another person complaining and being toxic for no reason, idk. If so, just ignore my post.

Your absolutely right. Blues are worthless very early on in leveling up your character. Ill go further though, Legendary gear is mostly worthless too after a point. Unless you luck out getting a build you personally like, or one of the 20 guns you don’t hate, Legendaries are worthless too. We need a loot revolution. Ad a random shader to every major kill. Shards and upgrade mats should have a chance of dropping on ANY kill! And buying expensive as crap engrams from Xur the useless should have a chance to decript as ANY exotic you don’t have! I am sick of grinding away for nothing. Bungie finally added matchmaking to nightfalls, but then made damn sure they wouldn’t drop ANYTHING of value for matchmade groups!

Remember getting good legendaries from matches in D1? Blues are just a waste of time
-
Yeah and what sucks is when you get say, rank ups or pinnacle, it gets sent to the post master. I know its a simple thing to fly to the tower, but its just a pain in the ass. I feel like I get 15 blues for the same slot over and over and over.
-
I remember the ole' D1 days when you could have popped off and topped all of the charts only to have Derpmaster 9000 on the bottom of the charts get an exotic. Ah, the memories.
-
In pvp you should be getting nothing. Pvp is the current endgame after everything else has been done. It’s BS. Nothing should be gained for pvp. This game should have been solely pve based and have a story. It’s stupid how much this game revolves around pvp.
-
Remember back in d1 when the person who did literally no work all match got a god roll eyasluna? Yeah me too
-
Even though blues are an issue, Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen.

If people got better gear for winning, or at least legendaries, people would complain that the rich get richer. And honestly, as much as I would like to be rewarded for my efforts for winning, I know I'm going to get screwed over. Remember in D1 when they guy at the bottom always got sick loot but you got nothing for basically carrying the team? I was usually that guy on top or second that got nothing for my efforts.
-
I did 12 Mayhem matches and got 33 blues and 5 legendaries. Yeah, its ridiculous
-
Blues won’t be sunsetted! /s
-
I think that realistically it shouldn't be that we get rid of blues, it should be that they're buffed in some way to make them actually usable. Exotics and legendaries shouldn't be the most common loot drops, that's just illogical. Maybe make them as good as legendaries, but without random rolls and they still can't be infused?
I do understand that this will probably never happen, but I still wanted to share my ideas to see what anyone else thought.
Stefanos1227 you make some valid points and i agree that eververse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defences, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
-
Giving more loot would disrupt their finely tuned behavioral reward model. That's why they're sunsetting, people don't feel like running the hamster wheel is worth the rewards anymore because Bungie can't keep everything balanced and add worthwhile rewards at the same time. Power creep is just a convenient excuse, they can balance the enemies to match whatever power level they want to.
-
I wouldn't call you toxic, but that's a terrible idea.
-
Either way 99% will turn into weapon parts
-
Give 10 blues to the losing team, the winning team just won't get a reward. It'd be an incentive to actually win.
-
The punishment for losing should be 5 blues. That way people actually want to win.
-
This game is stingy with loot, and it needs to stop.
-
We should get greens
-
I will say it’s better than d1 Top of the bird by a long shot? Here’s a strange coin Bottom of the board with 0 kills and all the deaths... here’s gally

Editado por Dante: 5/28/2020 1:35:47 PMwhy do we even get blues from any activites in the 1st place why when i do crucible i dont get crucible gear why when i do gambit i dont get gambit gear why when i do strikes i dont get strikes gear every activity in this game give you only blue trash and then bungie wonder why nobody is excited about loot and now they sunset weapons and armors that you couldnt really farm for and all was tied into some tokens rng bullsh1t
-
No you should be getting 2 TOKENS and a BLUE. Don't worry about legendary's you'll be making plenty of shards in September.

Transfem Gaming
:3 - antigo
Free gunsmith materials quicker rank ups for him with can be free legendary shards which are free engrams from rahool which can let you get a another chance at that world drop you don’t have a god roll -
Editado por blade329: 5/28/2020 3:55:24 PMDestiny 2 has the dumbest reward system I have ever seen. Look at comp PvP. Win, get three blues. Lose, get three blues. Have the worst stats in the match, get three blues. Have the best stats of the match, get three blues. So, after 4 matches, I end up with 12 worthless blue items clogging up my menus, regardless. It's just dumbfounding to me how anyone can see this as a good reward system. It's terrible.
-
It is just rng because I get legendaries(world drops) all the time. Not every match of gambit, crucible, or strike. At least one every three games, if not double drops. On top of every fifth game getting the seasonal armor or seraph weapon.
-
The only purpose of blues is for brand new players to use as infusion materials or to just level up faster. But even then they still drop waaaaaaay to often and once you get to the soft cap (which is incredibly easy to do even if you only play for like an hour a day) they serve zero purpose other than just wasting space in your inventory/postmaster or just wasting time by dismantling.
