Exactly what I asked. We spend all this time masterworking weapons we really like, only for ALL that progress to just.... "poof". Bungo says they aren't taking weapons out of our vaults, but they might as well be. And since our old favorite legendaries will pretty much be rendered completely useless in the new season, what's the point? I don't want to lose my Time-Worn Spire with 10000+ kills on it. Clearly that's a weapon that's never coming back for example, or we would've gotten one by now.
Or how about my Horror Story with 4,000+ kills registered? That just gets broke over Bungie's knee too? Weapon sunsetting sucks! One more reason to add to the list. No way to migrate weapon kills over to the next weapon. I don't want an "overall kills with" tag to stick to my emblem... that defeats the purpose of seeing how many kills I have with one specific weapon.
I highly doubt anyone at Bungie will even see this, let alone care... but there it is. You do this, your game will be dead in the water. I promise you.

I think there is going to be a new tracker. One that counts the tears shed by the community over sunsetting.
-
Simple, throw them in the vault, and when you're feeling sentimental you can pick them right back up.

Editado por Freak: 5/29/2020 11:27:00 AMI have an OG MW Better Devils with 77,000 kills on it and I can tell you what’s Not going to happen with your stat tracker. It’s not going to get you a job. It’s not going to support you. And it damn sure won’t get you laid. But yeah, Let’s worry about how many dregs you farmed..... It’s Not high on the give a sh!t list my dude. It’s on my hunter if you don’t believe me. Just click on the weapon and scroll down. LoL and it means absolutely nothing to anyone.

While this season sucks, Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen.
-
They already broke all the stat trackers with the "improved" emblems, you think they care about these?
-
Just like everything else in D2, your accomplishments don't matter. They madr everything temporary and expected people to "throw money at the screen", then had to add triumphs to address the playerbase dropping. This will fail miserably. I think Bungie is intentionally tanking the rest of this year so they can "fix" it next year and idiots will be shouting praise.

U can still use the same weapons in 95% of the game if u want, just not in future raids/trials etc.
-
My guy you have 1 character at 943. You’re likely not doing raids or trials. This change will barely effect you.
-
I 100% agree and thought the same. Not only has all the work been for almost nothing, the future now purposeless for loot chasing but one of the key motivators for myself is seeing progression on kill trackers. Even when there's no content to speak of (looking at you Season Ten) or when the Crucible sandbox is no longer in Kansas anymore, we could look for some sense of achievement or something to aim for in our kill tallies. Like Emblems, they're making them meaningless. When you begin Sunsetting meaning, motivation, achievement, perfecting endgame builds, then they're heading for places players won't follow.

Same thing that happened to the ornaments you paid money for, go straight in the crapper
-
Yeah this game really sucks
-
Then you'll have to find another big number to satisfy yourself.
-
“They might as well will be [taking away weapons]”? Hah You forget about ALL the content that’s sub 1000
-
You can always keep them. I still have year one Antiopes and Last Hopes that I refused to delete because of the kill trackers.
-
Sunsetting doesn't make the gun go away. You can still horde it with the other guns you're holding onto.
-
The kill trackers are weapon specific. Even 2 identical guns now have different kill trackers.
