Swords a “special” weapon?
Bungee is there a reason why the legendary swords can’t be made into special weapons?
I just feel that they are very under powered compared to the other heavy’s and they “as said by you” do a very similar job to shotguns but with less range.
Just feel that this change would also make crucible and pve more fun for such a build

1 ResponderWell, it would be interesting to see a special weapon exotic sword, but unfortunately there are a couple reasons. 1. Blocking. Imagine this in PvP, as well as PvE. Blocking would be a little broken. 2. Have you ever tried cheesing Riven with whirlwind blade swords? It's pretty powerful. Swords have some crazy DPS, but are under used because of stomp mechanics. 3. 3rd person point of view. PvP this would be absurd. Of course, you already have heavy swords that provide 3rd person, but having it use special would provide vision and the potential of killing someone coming around the corner. If you have suggestions to fix these issues, I think a special-sword (exotic preferably) would be really cool!
