They will only process the forms/requests in the order received, during business hours, and will not necessarily respond to any of them. They may disable CrossSave, but they don't really have an obligation to. That's the best they can really do. They cannot remove the Steam account since the credentials to do so are processed using the platform's authority system - not something in Bungie's control. Security is your responsibility - and I think you already realise that. So now you have to wait until they get to your submission. It may be days, or it may be weeks.
