So in part 2 of A Game of War there will be multiple references to something called the Red Vault and the Red Book. It hints that said vault depict things that would scar veteran guardians and the characters read it. (You don't get to read what's written in the file that worries me). I was wondering if I was allowed to hint that violent things were done using the Red Vault and Book but I'm wondering how heavily I can hint before I cross a line. (I would never describe what would have happened to the people but I'm wondering if some stuff is too much)
Here's an example, I think it's the worst part in it:
My fireteam was killed by this ascendant. His name is Akûn, and he laughed the entire time. He laughed while killing the best friends I ever had. Then he- he-"
"Taunted you."
"In indescribable ways. I would never tell even a veteran like you what he did to scar me. It would terrify you, it nearly drove me completely insane. There was nothing my ghost could do about it either. My mind," he tapped his forehead, "is still scarred. Anytime I think about it. I can hear his laughter.
That excerpt is perfectly fine! It’ll take much more than that to get in trouble. The only stuff that might be too graphic would be overly-descriptive gore like with seriously descriptive organ-spilling stuff. In my story, Remnants, I had a brief description of a man who had his gut sliced open then was left to rot for a month, but even that wasn’t very bad. Just avoid horribly violent and disturbing acts (probably avoid extra horrible stuff like the devouring of flesh at all costs) and sexual stuff.

Here's a link to Remnants, this is arguably the best on the forum. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/246624086/0/0

That seams pretty good, I wrote about a person I'm the city dying and a guy being almost sliced in half, and kseth and foxburton have some pretty detailed death. Imma go find a link to kseth's Remnants, I totally recommend you read it. If you don't want to just tell me.
