Good evening all, I finally got a new pc and Destiny 2 will be the first install. I have Cross Save activated for PS4 and Xbox. I don't remember linking a Steam account, but I must have as I have the options to buy Shadowkeep and Forsaken on the Cross Save screen. All DLCs are purchased for PS4 and Xbox. All of this was prior to the migration to Steam from Battle.Net. From the Steam perspective, I obviously have to install the Steam client. From the Destiny 2 perspective, what needs to be purchased and installed? Is Free to Play required and then purchase the Upgrade Edition or do I need to purchase Forsaken and Shadowkeep? And does it matter where they are purchased (Bungie Cross Save screen or within Steam)? Thank you very kindly. NotFromOz
Editado por suttungur: 1/19/2020 11:43:07 PMNone of the DLC transfers from one platform to the others, i.e. whatever content you wish to play on each platform, you need to own on that platform. Only thing that will be available on all platforms, is your Season Pass, as it is tied to your main cross-save character save. So, in short, you'd need Forsaken and Shadowkeep on PC if these are the DLCs you wish to play. The upgrade edition bundle should be cheaper that buying both separately. There is free-to-play too, if you don't wish to purchase the DLCs.
You will need to purchase licensed expansions (Forsaken/Shadowkeep) on any platforms where you plan to access that content. The Season Pass will follow your Active Cross Save account between platforms, as it's considered an in-game Silver purchase.
