The way bright dust was acquirable before Season of the Undying was more play to earn than it currently is mostly because we earned it every time we leveled up by doing whatever we wanted instead of only having bounties to do for it. So how about just directly rewarding us 50 bright dust for every time we rank up now with this new season rank system? Edit: If you only want to give us a reward every 5 levels then bump that 50 I said per level to at least 200.
Just adding in a few more bounties, and only during holidays to boot, to earn bright dust isn't going to change how abysmal it is to earn bright dust. The only bounties worth doing for bright dust are the weeklies because we at least get a small/medium chunk towards an item. The repeatable ones are not worth doing for multiple reasons, they have the highest glimmer for any bounty at 5k, you can only have 5 from each source at a time, and their only worth 10 bright dust on completion.
The amount of bright dust on bounty completions needs to go up. Let's see weekly bounties go up to 500 on a completion even if we need to slightly increase their completion requirements. Repeatable bounties are what really need changed though, let us acquire them without having to go to the tower (maybe give Tess a new page where we can buy the bounties that award bright dust, she's in the director so that would really give her a good use), let us buy as many as we can hold at one time (with no duplicates still to be fair), raise how much bright dust they are worth on turn in to like 30 (raise the completion requirements on most them slightly to balance it a little).

Editado por Cinderchar: 12/10/2019 3:37:19 PMIf you wanted to purchase everything offered for Bright Dust last season: • The total cost for everything is 185300 Dust • 45,870,000 Glimmer is needed to purchase all the repeatable bounties needed • You would have to complete a repeatable bounty every 7 minutes, over the entire 10 weeks, 24 hours a day All that doesn't sound fun to you?

The in-game economy has always been bad. But Bungie always finds way to make it increasingly worse.

Bungie slowly walking back on bright dust, ensuring people need to spend money to get things they want. Hmm. They said they wouldn't, yet they're doing it. What's that C word we use for spineless men? Quit playing this game. They keep making it worse because they want to know what point you'll leave. You should all leave. By playing this game you support every issue it has.

it's because bungie are whalers

Take my upvote. This should be added here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/e7526o/the_total_cost_of_bright_dust_needed_for/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Right before Shadowkeep launched I deleted all of my exotic ships, sparrows, and ghost shells along with the shaders that dismantled into dust. I had 115k dust, had. 2 seasons go by and I'm down to 20k... I'm not even buying everything available plus I'm doing as many of these bounties that award dust as I can and I'm bleeding it out fast... too fast. There are definitely way to many items to purchase and way too few opportunities to earn dust, I agree... it's a problem

They changed the slogan from: "Become Legend" To: "Silver or GTFO"

Editado por Tru-Zrue: 12/12/2019 5:15:50 PMJust add with the battle pass players get 100 bd everytime they level up... Even pass rank 100. 😈 To bungie. Lel someone at bungie just got pissed.

Basically it isn’t going to get better, because the worse it is the more money they make.

Season of Abysmal Dust, where Eris Moron removes her bandage and Bright Dust pours from her eyeless sockets! Your mission Guardian, should you accept it, is to gather up all the dust and take it to the Cryptarch, who will exchange it for two blues and a snarky remark. All this amazing adventure for a mere $35. A bargain at twice the price. Sign up today!

Whole point of Bright dust is to have garbage items for sale with in-game currency because then Bungie can avoid attention of authorities and their opinions of predatory loot box systems and players wrath of pay-to-win ( / high end visuals). Bright dust is, and never will be, a viable way to get top tier skins etc.

Just spend money.

Yup, looks like it as long as the basement dwellers keep funneling money into this dumpsterfire.

Amazed people complain about cosmetic items in Destiny, it's not that bad. Playing a lot of MW right now and trust me Destiny is like the dollar store compared to that BS.

It's totally fine.

Just remember we need it for king space turtle

50? Come on! Why start so low? If you're going to try to bargain, at least start higher like 200 and hope for 150 with a cap of 5 per week. Which isn't even that out of the question. That's 7500 Dust per season, or enough for 2 to 3 exotic items.

What are all the avenues for bright dust post-Shadowkeep?
