To whom does your characters allegience belong to?
For example if the Awoken and Last City went to war with each other whose side would you be on? If hostility broke out between the Drifter and Vangaurd whose side would you be on?

Editado por Timewaster504: 10/29/2019 11:09:37 PMHonestly, as I normally think of my character as the same age as me, so I would probably go with whoever needs help, or just go along with whatever my ghost thinks

Life....and its protection. So I believe that means I'm aligned with The Traveler. ("Humanity needs protectors. Will you stand with me?") Answer: Yes. Point me in the right direction and tell me what I need to shoot......

Whoever makes the best sandwiches.

Id join the Destiny (1) version of Cult of Osiris, not the idiots they were turned into for D2.

... Snoop Dog, head of the House of Blaze It...
not included in the DLC
Shadows of Yor. (Wouldn't join actual group though because of Shin.)
-
House of light.

My allegience is to the Republic,
TO DEMOCRACY
I’m not gonna lie, I had avoided picking a side until today after I finished my Hush quest. I went down to the annex and immediately picked the vanguard just to spite the git for locking my favorite weapon type behind his shitty little game mode.

Uuuhhh to our lord and saviour Jesus christ!

Editado por Steamed Hams: 10/27/2019 3:55:46 PMI just noticed after the end of a Gambit Prime match, Drifter said something along the lines of "one step closer to salvation"

I have four characters: three in-game, and my fanfiction character, Mr. Oddish, who is modeled after my first Destiny 1 character. Mr. Oddish: Supports the Vanguard, but is not friendly with its head. In his eyes, Zavala's stubbornness and refusal to form alliances is responsible for humankind's near-extinction in the Red War. as a former ambassador to the Cabal, he is friendly with Calus, but doesn't entirely trust him. My Titan (Maglev-6): Supports the City. Has limited confidence in Zavala, but knows that the Drifter is really mainly concerned with self-preservation, and is willing to sacrifice the City to get it. Does not trust Calus, because of how he treats his loyalists and the Hive and Vex he allies himself with. My Hunter (Kiara Pel): Used to support New Monarchy, but blames the Vanguard for their apparent dysfunction. Has now taken up with the Drifter and Gambit. My Warlock (nameless): No stated affiliation, but supports the Light and opposes the Darkness. Hence his preference for the Dawnblade Attunement of Grace.

Whoever has the hardest opposition and the best weaponry to shoot said opposition with. I like to shoot things.

Shadows of Yor isn’t for villains. It’s for Guardians who are able to avoid corruption and use Dark power. Which is the only way we will win. The Darkness can negate our Light, it has done so time and time again. That means we need a power it can’t negate. Which is its own.
-
My own agenda. Or Drifter, as both of our beliefs are pretty similar, just wanting to survive.
-
The people of the city. Not any of their factions, but the people themselves. You know, the people who we are sort of supposed to protect, so I’d work wit multiple different factions to help them.
-
Definently with myself
-
My Guardian doesn’t side with factions. He’s just defending the city and doing his job as a guardian, and occasionally doing scouting missions. But I guess I’d say the vanguard, and the light. Yes, if we get the ability to use darkness abilities in D3, I’ll probably do it, but will never follow their beliefs.

Editado por Ricochet 049: 10/24/2019 11:29:25 PMMy guardian isn’t so much “with” anyone as much as he is against the enemies of humanity. The Vanguard are useful to a point. But get cold feet outside the walls. (Cayde And eris were the only ones pushing to defeat oryx) He has friends in individuals, but isn’t loyal to a faction outside of his clan.
-
Why side with only one faction, Why purposefully handicap yourself when so much is on the line. You need to use every recourse you can. I won't be siding with any of these factions, I'll be helping those out there on the frontier. I wish all you guardians luck, and if we meet on opposing sides then know I won't go easy.

Editado por superluigi6968: 10/25/2019 6:34:07 AMThe city's government is nonexistent without a Speaker (two+ years and no replacement!), Uldren kind of slaughtered a lot of Awoken outside of the Dreaming City, Drifter doesn't fight, he runs away from them, I don't want to be a pawn of Mara's, and the Shadows of Yor actually kind of retired. And f*ck Calus. It'd be cool if we could form a coalition of Guardians, answering to no other faction, fighting the only fight we ever should have been fighting: The fight to protect those that others seek to harm. We are Guardians, of the Traveler, of the Light, of all peoples who cannot protect themselves. Yo, those Cult of Osiris robes look pretty sweet. Remember that time that the Sunbreakers existed? RIP.

It belongs to myself.

Editado por Xgb raven: 10/25/2019 9:23:45 AMProbs Calus, at least until he starts doin shit that i disagree with, so far he's been chill. And my evil sugar daddy. I mean, seriously he gave me back my favorite gun. BAD JUJU BABY!!!!!! But really, i'm just kinda neutral.
