Here's why in the tag below: [spoiler]Not many knew the Nine were vulnerable upon leaving Jovian space. Brother Vance knew. That's how III (3) was killed. It wasn't Maya. It was Bael or his Master. Brother Vance knew, Osiris had the information about the Nine's weakness.[/spoiler] It's in the lore, it's in-game. Brother Vance literally tells us this.
