I'm excited. It is interesting that it's going to get a multiplayer beta, but it's campaign I'm more interested in anyways.
Eventually maybe we'll get a DOOM collection for current gen...Imagine Doom I&II with a complete graphics re-haul similar to H:CEA. Maybe it would ruin the feel, but it would give me incentive to run through them again. I have found ID's recent entries such as The New Order and Rage to be satisfying, so lets hope they do this DOOM correctly.

I don't think Doom 1&2 would benefit from a Halo CEA type update. It would be interesting though if someone attempted it. Doom 3: BFG Edition was a good collection.
