Doom was one of those games that I just never got the chance to play. Will do when I can.

Probably best to buy Doom 3: BFG edition , excellent value for money as you get Doom 1&2 and Doom 3 with the lost levels, good value for money and if you can't get into The early games at least you may appreciate Doom 3. It's an old game but actually has better graphics than some recent games like Aliens: CM. Polish off that shot gun son and go hunting some Imps!
