This thing sound like a complete failure to me. EA not making games for them is a big blow. I know a lot of people buy those exclusives. But when I buy a system I buy it to play other games out there. Say what you want about EA, but they do produce fun titles and now they're going to do Star Wars games.
To top that off apparently the Wii U is weaker than the 360. Which means the Wii U really isn't a next gen console. I know the Wii is weaker than the 360, but having your next gen console being the same is a bad move. Now they are 2 generations behind in tech.

I'm pretty sure the Wii U is more powerful than the 360. For a start it streams to 2 screens in 1080p. (correct me if I'm wrong, by all means). EA don't actively develop for a lot of platforms and those platforms are still doing fine. 3DS for example.

I think people are missing the point that EA is not happy with Nintendo because they wouldn't allow EA to release an Origin App for the Wii U.
