Dude, I have tried everything. I watched countless videos, from speed runs, to CC skill runs. I found a video from, I think it said 4 or 5 months ago, where this Warlock completely melted their way through the run, with a bunch of mods that actually didn't fit the build at all, and tried to copy those builds and run the mission. I tried so hard, for so long, to not complain about this mission but COME ON!! D1 was easier in so many respects. Kings Fall was easier. Halo LASO was easier.
I'm not going to ask for the difficulty to be reduced, I won't ask for team mates because it's supposed to be solo-able. What I am going to ask is what can I use when I don't have Mint Retrograde, because my PSY Aeterna T5 isn't cutting it. I have watched videos with Mint melting yellows, and Walker tanks, but I don't have it, so I use Psy, and it is just a joke.
If you could not use any relations to "Git Gud", I would appreciate it. Been working on this mission for months and keep reaching boss room at 7, 8 and 9 minutes, phase 1 Siriks gone around 5 or 6, but IF I can take out the Walkers, I get Brig Siriks at 1 minute.

3 OdpowiedziAdd clear build for first encounter; Stay near pipe where you drop in and heavy machine gun everything. Next section, take out tracer shanks as priority. Work from back of map to the front clearing other shanks/ads as you go. I use Malfeasance on the Servitor and Brig once the ads are cleared. Next section both servitors that all the ads attach to, priority. Clears snipers, then the walker using heavy or a decent scout rifle. I use Malfeasance here as well. After this is a dozen dregs and a captain or so. Platforming section, down the wall, and kill 2 ads. At fans look down and kill shanks before dropping down. Platforming section, then to Trvr. Map room, then Boss room. Heavy machine gun for ads and shanks. I use Polaris lance for taking out everything else. ALWAYS clear the ads before any boss damage, cuts down on the chaos. Use Polaris to take out the servitors, from distance, crits cause ignitions, nice and steady. Same deal Walkers. Polaris on a leg, once down, target the 'brain' hitting crits for ignitions. All can be done at distance with Polaris. The Tunnel under the middle of the room is a good spot for peeking in and out. Final boss fight use heavy to get his front plate down; Then from the back of the room Polaris Lance at the crit spot, while strafing the width of the room, side to side. Loads of room at the back and easy with Polaris, if you keep moving you wont get hit by his rockets and other crazy sh*t. Did I say clear ads before Boss damage in final room? This cannot be stressed enough. Good Luck.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika EMUracing: 2/9/2026 7:39:10 PMZero Hour is my favorite mission in the game. I personally do not feel that it is really that difficult anymore, but that is more because I have played it so much and learned a lot about how to play it than it actually not being a difficult mission. I tend to run the mission daily, when I see someone make a FTF post for it to help them through. First, what class do you run, and what build are you running on? I am a Voidlock main, but have run with Getaway Prismatic as well. On PC, Contra HHSN chunk can work well for most of the mission, especially walkers and the brigs. On console, scatter would be the better option. Without Mint, its a bit difficult. Because Mint does a lot of heavy lifting while leaving options in the loadouts to cover all 3 elements for the shank shields. While it sounds trivial, those shields eat up a lot of time. First ad clear room are void shield, second is arc, third is solar. In the boss room, you have all 3 elements at once. Streamlining the traversal sections helps, you dont want to rush and die (spawn resets are so far behind), but you cant go very slow. I run with a lightweight weapon for all of the traversals, and use an eager edge sword where it is safe to do so without risk of falling off the map. For PSI Aeterna or Mint, having Elemental Honing x4 at least is important to doing good damage with it. PSI Honing with the Accelerated Assault origin trait should be doing more damage than Mint does, and will break the arc shields. What is your roll for PSI Aeterna? For walkers, I break a leg, then position between the walker and the wall on the platform. This will shield you from the other walker while you go to work. Then grab ammo in center and do the same to the other walker. After both walkers are down, kill that servitor ASAP. The immunity that they have will destroy your ammo reserves if you dont get it down quick. Ideally you want to take it down before the big wave of adds spawns shortly after the Brig. Arc threat days are the worst day to run the mission, 90% of the damage is arc. Best is Void since only the servitors do void damage. In the boss room on Arc days, the snipers are the highest priority enemies. Even on non arc days, you want to avoid them. Edit: also, I wanted to mention that the Ferropotent armor this season is quite good for the two piece set. You can almost keep the 10% DR up at all times as a Warlock. Any time you heal, it activates for 6 seconds. So, use in a rift is very beneficial. If killing adds, heal clip activates it, as does orb pickup.

Edytowany przez użytkownika NerfPaladins06: 2/10/2026 9:10:40 PMScrew those half a year old builds. Copy mine. For heavy you can use Dragon's Breath, Anarchy, or Finality's Augur (Finality's being the best option, the other two being easier to use). Warlock turrets and 2 auto loading weapons is brain dead easy. Free damage on boss while you run around and easily clean up snipers and turrets. When you get moments to safetly dps the boss summon all your turrets, cycle your heavy and motif when they auto load, and fire kinetic tremor primary between auto loads (Giver's Blessing is good if you don't have my SMG). Also Mint is not anymore powerful than Psi. Mint has better perks for bossing but it's not that huge a difference.

Edytowany przez użytkownika GhostRavenDK: 2/10/2026 9:40:29 AMI soloed it the other day to get the triumph, used Getaway artist (200 grenade), mint retrograde with elementtal honing (sorry), Returned memory (heal clip and incandesent), and finalitys auger with cat, and Sullen claw with eager edge for traversal. If you need help feel free to add me.

I watched my housemate solo it once and it wasn’t that difficult maybe it’s your gear and load out that’s making you fail not the missions fault.

ooooooh, the quarantine zone emblem 👌💪👌

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika EatTheCrow: 2/8/2026 8:02:31 PMDuring the boss room, what I use for the walkers is - stand between the walker and the wall (so the other walker can't shoot you easily) use a trench barrel shotty.. non charged melee a leg, three shots..repeat. once it opens, hop up onto the red walker brain thing..crouch...non charged melee DOWNWARD so you hit the brain thing, three more shots..repeat. melts the walkers fast. I usually make sure all the snipers and flying adds are gone prior to doing this. Once you're up on top of the walker, makes you an easy target for them. I'm a titan and do this without synthoceps or boosts to melee... Assume it works on other classes tho. As far as the brig goes, I like to climb the stairs on the wall to the left.. I go to the top, do damage..when he does his red circles on the floor, I back down to the lower platform and do more damage..when red circles appear there, go back up and repeat.

1 OdpowiedźIf the video was older, it may have been when pulse rifles were "anti-barrier". Anti-barrier weapons melt Walkers when you shoot their legs. That is why Psi feels weak against them right now. You would need to use Hand Cannon or Sniper if you want to kill them more quickly. I usually use Uncivil Diacourse

15 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Rockjaw: 2/8/2026 3:20:58 PMWhat difficulty are you on, GM or Ultimate? Or expert vs. Legend, whatever they named it there. Edit: Doesn't matter so much I suppose, I see your light level is like 470, so you're good there. If you have it, use dragons breath on the walkers. 1 shots them.

whisper of the worm vs servators and the captain, jottun vs the brigg, and outbreak prime to finish it off when out of ammo. thats my strat.
