I don’t necessarily think there needs to be drop rate protections but rather we should be able to run the dungeon infinitely while still getting rewards.
Rewards being locked to once a week sort of made sense in the past due to the lack of variety of stats on loot but now with stats, armor types, perks, etc being so different, it doesn’t really make sense anymore.

yeah it doesnt make any sense to lock dungeon exotic drop rates behind weekly time gates, it just adds artificial difficulty.

It is only the exotic that is weekly lock out.
