The portal is fine. It's a starting point that helps guide players to gear and activities while letting them play the difficulty they want and with whom they want to play with. All it needs is the rest of the old activities added to it, like gambit, the other pvp modes, raids, etc. And maybe make it look like the world screen so that we still get the exploration feel of going from location to location in space. Also, if they delete the portal, yall will all of a sudden miss it, like yall do everything when they bring something new and remove it. Ex: pathfinder. Yall hated it while it was here. The sec they removed it, there was nothing but love for it lol. Same would happen with the portal. You'd see the talk turn to 'why can't they just make it easier to pick activities, chase certain items we need/want, select mods, have a starting point to guide players, etc, like the portal did?' Lol.
