Yes, I want to look ar a dreg and have their ancestors feel it. Let us play as the God killers we are, let us over power and give us mods that give us our super every 20 seconds or something. Let us have fun. This idea that the higher we get the weaker we are is stupid. I have killed gods and now im getting one shot by dregs. Remove the scoring system and give us drops for completion and let us use ny mods we want good or bad. That's how we play our way.
Yes, I want to look ar a dreg and have their ancestors feel it. Let us play as the God killers we are, let us over power and give us mods that give us our super every 20 seconds or something.
You can do that by playing on Normal difficulty and selecting the positive Modifiers that let you recharge your abilities faster. You'll get lousy loot, but you can already do the thing you're asking for.

So you must play being weak to get "the best loot"? No thanks, there are games with better system to spend your time on

This is 100% not understanding builds.... an -30 delta is insanely easy to steamroll. I dont get why people complain about oh god I have to play harder activities to get better gear.... thats how it should work.
-
In D1, when you reached the max level and light level of an expansion, you were overpowered, you got good loot and people seemed to like that. But hey what do i know.
-
You clearly forget forever 29 needed to raid to get max light... kinda weird the game was launched properly then caved to the participation trophy crowd.
-
That's not true. We were never overpowered compared to the game. How the game worked and continues to work: 1. We work up to the level of an enemy. 2. Once we reach and/or surpass that level, they make the enemies equal to us. It just feels we are op cause of all the weapons and abilities we have. That's why you would see people commenting about it taking multiple shots to kill a red bar or complaining about being 1 shot by something despite being whatever level.
-
Save it for better loot, reaching max power level shouldn't need to face -30 delta just to increase your power level by one point

No other game gives you power for playing easier content or better gear. I couldn't imagine the people complaining here actually playing a real game that requires gearing. WoW the best gear is out of the hardest dungeons and mythic raids, you can get gear similar but nowhere near the stats on that gear unless you do the harder content. Destiny the participation trophy community lol.

Better gear behind harder content, sure but reaching max power level? I don't remember seeing any game forcing you to play harder content just to level up, you can stay at middle to lower level to level up albeit at much slower pace. Also, what's the "better gear" anyway? Weapons in destiny is basically the same everywhere except for some rolls which isn't something locked in hard difficulty. You can simply grind at low level until you get that roll without any headache on "harder difficulty" since the stats are exactly the same, only different in perks

Selecting difficulty vs being rewarded for the power grind.
