Is asking for this game to be fun AND rewarding too much?
Despite all the rollbacks made in order to appease the player base after the EoF release, why does it feel like I am still being trolled by the developers of my favorite game?
How am I being trolled? I have three bonus rewards and a bonus focus on my solo and fireteam quick play options that I will never be able to redeem. This is because the system developed by bungie requires a player to achieve a B rank on an activity to be able to receive the listed rewards. I call it trolling because bungie knows you can never achieve a B rank on normal difficulty when your guardian has a light level of 500+.
Quickplays are fun, normal difficulty is fun, what isn't fun is being required to play at the hardest difficulties to be able to advance my character. Stop gatekeeping progression, not every player can solo flawless dungeons, GM's, and conquests. For all you rhetoric of being inclusive you sure do a great job creating and maintaining a "git good" culture.

The game can't just be fun because they added a linear level system that makes people who want to have fun quit the game. The old system was better at allowing people to play however they wanted and just have fun.

10 OdpowiedziYes, if you don't find a game fun then asking for it to change to suit your desires is asking too much. It screams entitlement and due to it being a game it's childlike entitlement. It's up to an individual to find something fun to do.

You can currently do that. Check. What you're truly asking for is to be able to get higher level gear while playing at lower levels, so you can steamroll. That defeats the purpose and cheats the game. If we could do that, there would be no point of higher level content. And no, you don't have to solo flawless dungeons, gm, nor any of the other things you listed to get higher gear. No one is gatekeeping gear.

No other game that I play, the "daily farming" is like this. With every activity being this "don't die or else" in a game notorious for using random deaths as a way to pretend it's harder than it actually is. I'm covered in T5 gear, and I can't tell the difference from when I was not. The game is so overtuned past 450 power that any gain in power is lost in the gazillion modifiers vomiting AoE on you on every corner of this game as a way to make things more "challenging".

D2 is a whole different game now with a new team and another company over looking . The next 6 months is do or die for Bungie . Marathon has to work and renegades needs to make money to carry on . Sony really brought a cluster -blam!- of a company for 3 billion dollars 😂

I thought I'd step back in for a bit and try out that Halloween version of Alters of Sorrow before it disappears, boss would not come out, played until I got a headache and left. What a waste of time. Logged out. Why bother anymore. It's always disappointing.

You forget this is Bungo, fun is not allowed and must be removed and destroyed immediately. They have done nothing but destroy the game lately, anything we find a way to enjoy ourselves they remove it right away but if there is a bug to screw us over it is allowed to stay.

The power progression is much better, and so is the reward. But the difficulty tuning is completely out of whack. -

1 OdpowiedźAs bad as the progresison system was prior to the delta changes I'd say that it was a million times better than what we have now. Sure, it was slow but it was at least still fun to play and you could solo pinnacles or play fireteam MM without it being a total drag. Everything outside of solo ops is basically a GM now and I don't enjoy having that as my only bread and butter daily content.

I have stayed away from matchmade or quick play as much as possible, because solo and crucible are way more consistent. This is an A+ combo from 470 to 550 Solo Ultimate Player stakes pressure cooker. This is barely even a modifier as we have to finish in time anyway. Pick 1 modifier in player challenges. I normally pick an anti-surge mod that won't affect me at all This will be a B or B+. Do all the objectives and finish in time = A+ If the bonus objective is precision kills, consider restarting. Some very easy builds. Just make sure you are making orbs and healing on every kill Titan Solar throwing hammers or consecration Hunter Punch Dodge combination blow Warlock Buddies or Lightning Surge Technically you can avoid all champions except for K1 Logistics when it is Fallen Servitors. If you play in Ultimate long enough you will start to get a feel for the difficulty and after awhile see it is not that much different. Depending on the activity of course, but not in solo portal.
