The perk is trash, it takes wayy too many shots to Scorch the target and takes too many shots to cause an Ignition…
How to fix:
- Reduce the amount of shots required to apply Scorch by a noticeable amount to have it more leveled like Jolting Feedback.
- While you have Radiant or Restoration, the amount of shots required to apply Scorch are reduced and will you apply more Scorch Stacks with the weapon to Scorched targets.

Scorch with abilty and then unload as intended. I enjoy the mod. Don't get me wrong, id love to scorch nonstop but that would destroy every other need for other builds. If you use properly it works awesome i just don't think people are fully aware how it works which maybe they could explain better to avoid confusion.

3 OdpowiedziIt feels like it takes the same amount of shots no matter the weapon type (at least for me, it does).

Love this

4 OdpowiedziIt's main use is applying scorch, not being an ignition machine. You're meant to use it with other sources of scorch.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Meat Fountain: 11/4/2025 9:58:44 AMIt works quite well when the Ashes to Ashes trade-off modifier is active. If solar hunger and solar surge are active at the same time it's hilarious. Ember of Ashes and Ember of Char are basically mandatory to get the best out of it. Ashes makes it stack more quickly and Char allows you to reignite a surviving target more quickly. I think giving extra specific benefits when radiant is a good idea and since you mention it, it seems weird that it doesn't.

If your wep is champ stunning, that scorch it gains that ability. Nice for barriers and overloads.

I found that running a solar subclass with fragments that increases scorch stacks and spreads it, including ignition spreads scorch, burning ambition is very very strong. I have an agape I use with rewind rounds and burning ambition on a solar hunter build with the scorch and ignition fragments, pair it with lucky pants. This one gun alone is all I need to kill everything with lucky pants, and the DPS output is amazing.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika MNN8TV: 11/3/2025 8:59:00 PMIncandescent and burning ambition are basically opposite use cases. Incandescent is good for little enemies and/or easier content. Burning ambition is amazing but only in harder content and/or tankier enemies. Burning ambition definitely is a bit more limited though I’ll give you that. In order for it to be worth it you need a way to apply at least some scorch first. Best method I’ve found is using it with song of flame. Song of flame causes a small amount of scorch on solar or kinetic weapon damage. So burning ambition starts working on the second instance of damage from a weapon.

It might take awhile to work but in combination with other scorch applications it speeds things up a bit...if it could just ignite whenever it would be too easy and free champion stuns... it's probably balanced to be equivalent to other damage increasing modifiers to factor in for the damage that scorch applies.... That being said having fire explosion rifle whenever would be amazing

ObelixMenhir - stary
Especially on primaries. I would never use that for mini boss or DPS as it takes way too much time and against ads and orange bars there are better options. It fits in a weird spot in my opinion where it really shines at nothing. And on heavy MG like Unwavering I’d prefer target lock or killing tally. -
8 OdpowiedziI like your suggestions and would welcome them. I will add, however, that it works well in higher difficulty content since it takes more shots to kill targets anyways. Where you can kill them relatively fast, Incandescent is a better trait. Both are good for different reasons. But, again, I certainly wouldn’t object to a buff.

7 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika ABADDON_WOLFFE: 11/3/2025 5:45:43 PMI think it's meant to be used in tandem with a solar build and shoot targets already being scorched. (To add more scorch xD) Which kinda defeats it's purpose. 🤔
