I’m completely disappointed rn, because my friends were doing an Epic Raid of Desert Perpetual they were on the hydra encounter. And then all of a sudden a Cheater joins and the cheater just killed the boss instantly without starting the encounter. I mean really how are people not banned for doing this, and there’s also cheaters in PvE that also start cheating it’s not just raid players who suffer it’s PvP players too. We’ve been complaining that the cheaters shouldn’t rule the game they’re completely just making it unfair for all players, including the Competitive and Raids/Dungeons.

- Bungie miraculously bans a cheater - Cheater creates a new account because game is F2P and they don’t get hardware or IP banned. - Rinse and repeat It’s never going to end, going F2P was the nail on the coffin for cheaters to get the green light to cheat infinitely.

I was in an EPIC DP LFG and a guy admitted to doing that same thing for years. Someone else posted here that streamers are openly cheating to see if Bungie can them faster than Twitch. And just this past week, two separate LFGs had players nuking the boss on the rip. I’ve never seen this in all my years playing Destiny. I’m rank 345 Global in EPIC DP clears with 17…. ahem … SEVENTEEN clears. You need to start viewing the game through the player numbers now unfortunately.

22 OdpowiedziYeah you see the problem with that is most of these cheaters are streamers that's the reasons why they would not ban every cheater... Example a year ago when someone was manipulating the game where they can basically having infinite heavies it was not a regular player it was a streamer on twitch.. What's even more mind-blowing is that bungee did not ban them until 4 hours later after discovering what was happening. They basically allowed him to go flawless 3 times... Those kind of players should be banned and their loot should be removed! Or even think about gearbox when streamers use and sell modded gear where you can shot everything in the game for borderlands. Yes they have a policy where you can be banned for doing modded stuff, but streamers don't get banned for it. Gearbox already said we may have these policies implemented in our game but we will not go after streamers because they are our revenue... Same applies to streamers in destiny they will not ban streamers even if they cheat same thing happen with division 2 in 2017 when players used a experience glitch to reach over 3 million extra experience. Ex most players got a 3 week suspension streamers did not even though there was a streamer who advertised the glitch like it was a freaking soap commercial. yeah he didn't get banned and he removed all the evidence that he made a video about it he was promoting the glitch.. This was the same guy who is -blam!- who bullies people in division in PVP and who has been constantly caught manipulating the dark zone PVP mode.. That is why a lot of people see it as a correlation that people who cheat are usually people who are the most toxic players in the community because that is their ideology that is their mindset.

Nothings gonna happen buddy dream on. Literally the game is being forced to die so they can focus on Marathon.

If apps can issue a device ban for users who violate their Terms of Service Agreement, so can gaming companies.

Edytowany przez użytkownika l Xemnas: 11/2/2025 9:30:06 PMClanmate of mine got banned for paying a cheater to run Epic Dp for him. Apparently he's trying to appeal it. I'm hoping the ban sticks personally.

You know it’s bad when I’m getting YouTube ads for Destiny 2 recov and paid cary services. Yes in theory it could be top player selling their services, in practice though in order to guarantee results and keep cost low, I’d bet these are just players in low wages country cheating their a** off. The fact that there is advertising for it is beyond my understanding. -
So many obvious cheaters in Trials today. Makes it impossible to get a 7 win streak because it's guaranteed every 5 matches or so. At least when we had a mercy card you could have some cheater cushion.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika Griever: 11/2/2025 6:18:33 PMHad a match over an hour ago against a guy who consistently for the past several seasons and presumably the rest before that who had a win rate of less than 10% across hundreds of matches and a kd never going higher than like a 0.6 or something like that. This season however his win rate has skyrocketed to over 40% and won 44 of his last 50 matches last I saw and made another post about, got the win streak to go flawless at least twice, is currently adept 1 in comp with a 48% win rate and 0.98 kd, and has been absolutely dominating. So either a recovery, hacks, or matchmaking manipulation by intentionally doing so terribly over the course of several matches the game is somehow forcing a win rate of over 80%. So... Bannable offense (hacking, and with his accuracy/ movement on console on top of being able to shoot me through his back during melee animations, not possible), bannable offense (recovery), or bannable offense (throwing over 90% of his matches across multiple seasons to manipulate the matchmaking, both are bannable as the latter can and is typically considered boosting), because no one improves that much in less than a single season. It's simply not possible. You don't just magically improve from seemingly having every disability known to man and POOF you're performing like you're in the top 0.3% as if you just met Jesus. Anyone capable of doing that is wasting their lives playing a game like this. The win rate alone should be a massive red flag because no one, especially overnight, just magically improves from having a win rate of less than 10% over multiple seasons, thousands of matches, and somehow start achieving a win rate of 80%? If that's not proof of foul play I don't know what is.

It’s epidemic. The best thing to do is continually roast Bungie, the D2 team and their other accounts on X. Post on their post and announcements. Upload video evidence there. But honestly this company is a frigging joke now and like others have said they don’t care. At this point they’ll take publicity they can get.
-
2 OdpowiedziHomie, there are less than 5k total players in pvp at any given time. They don’t care. If battle eye doesn’t do anything then they won’t. They are keeping the population however they can.
-
Bungie don't care. Enjoy the free loot.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Killapete232: 11/2/2025 9:06:06 AMSame thing just happened to my team on normal dp, the cheater was invisible and a 7th person on our already full 6 player team. The cheaters can do this then no one is safe from this tbh and it's very scary since players can be banned for this bs falsely. I have never seen this type of cheating in all my years of playing and tbh this is a huge security issue that needs to be resolved asap. If a cheater can just join a full fire team randomly without anyone even knowing and be completely ghost with no trace or evidence of them even being in their game is a huge risk to the entire player base as a whole. It makes me worry that they could potentially do something horrible like attack the server database and delete all of our characters. This is a dangerous set of security risks and tbh it needs attention asap before something worse happens. Players ip and information is at risk to the cheaters at this point, Bungie if you read this please do something. Never in my entire history of playing have I had this happen and it's very worrisome.
