oh sorry i was wondering if i could get a name change token. my name got changed to redacted and when i was just trying to figure out what i could type in it decided to take it or i hit the wrong button or something. im not sure what happened but i would rather not have my name stuck as redacteduck for the rest of time lol. any way you could help me out?

Hi again, If you have name changes remaining, you can use them to change your name, provided the new name passes inspection from the name filter and you are not attempting to go back to a previously actioned name. Otherwise, you'll unfortunately be stuck with the name you currently have; Bungie does not process custom name changes on players' behalf, nor do we grant additional name changes to individual players.

so after 13 years of playing that's your response? my name wasn't even offensive and i don't have any name changes that's why I'm on here asking. i would think with the player base how it is and for a year one player you could mayb just click a button and let me change my name to something else. i mean with these kind of responses no wonder why you player base has kept falling. This will be the last season or expansion i will buy thanks to your response. It was a simple name change request because of your faulty system. thanks tho it was a ride for sure. year 1 vet out

Hello, Bungie has issued several name change tokens since implementing the Bungie Name system. Also, it is worth noting that "Redacteduck" is not a moderated name, that name was something manually selected. Moderated names will appear as "REDACTED####". If you have not previously used your name changes, you should be able to select a different name that aligns with the Bungie Name guidelines.

Yes. Bungie issues them from time to time.

Considering it took them the better part of six years to give us a second token. Don't expect another one anytime soon.

i know right. oh well guess i better find a new game i mean honestly this is just the nail in the coffin ive been over this game for awhile but you know it was destiny so i tried sticking it out. what a joke no wonder why you get kicked from matchmaking

ya thanks i figured that out. my friends dont know who i am the ones who are left anyways but its ok i think im just done with the game
