If you weren't selected on your own account then you'll 99.9% be hit with the 'this account is not provisioned for Marathon' error and wont be able to play.

That's pretty lame tbh. Wanting alpha testers and feedback but not allowing people to be alpha testers and give feedback sucks.

Its only intended to be a small-scale test, so they're heavily restricting who can access it down to making sure people applying will be the same accounts joining in so prevent people just mass applying for keys then sharing/selling them.
