Can you please explain why steam or Xbox cannot ban those profiles so they no longer can be a threat?

My Steam account was the ONLY thing linked to my Bungie.net profile, the hacker added their Microsoft and Epic probably for this very reason, knowing Bungie would be more than useless fixing the situation once they had their accounts in place on the cross Save Account linking page, and I would be able to do nothing to get them removed. This was Microsoft's Reply to my email to them "Welcome to the Microsoft Community. Understand that your Steam account suffered a security breach where an unknown third party tied its Xbox account to your Bungie.net profile. And you have no access to this unfamiliar account, making it impossible to regain control. In this case, since community members do not have access to the user's account either, it is recommended that you contact Bungie Support to see if they can further analyze the issue for your account. If possible, provide evidence that you have a Bungie.net account (e.g. transaction receipts, linked services, or previous login history) to help Bungie Support verify your identity. Keep a close eye on your account to prevent any further suspicious activity while the issue is being resolved. It is important to act quickly to avoid further complications. Best Regards." Basically each platform is pointing the finger at the other saying "it's their problem" and that's a pretty crappy place to be in for a company I've spent so much money supporting over the last 5 years. Each of them falling back to "Security Policies" as an excuse. Sad part is that if I was a Streamer or bigger name in their community they would have no problem helping me out without all of this back and forth drama. So if Microsoft and Epic won't help me and Bungie won't help me WHO DO I TALK TO?? Is my account just gone forever at this point without making a new Steam account and re-purchasing all the content starting from scratch on a brand new account? Epic Games hasn't even responded to my email to them but even if they do, I need BOTH the Xbox and Epic accounts removed to eliminate any possibility that this person will log back in and continue messing with me. Never mind the fact that on top of all this I've lost all 3 of my characters and everything they had equipped to them this morning as well. My vaults are fine but I can't remedy that without their intervention and they've shown time and time again that they have the capability to roll back account progress if your name matters enough in the community. I've done everything I can do and I need someone at Bungie to step up and help me, please. I don't know what else to do and I don't just want to walk away from a game I've loved playing for so long.

So who DOES have power to ban that Xbox and epic account?
-
EXACTLY! It's not even about banning those accounts, they introduced the cross save account linking, and they decided to take away the ability to remove linked accounts. They can do it, they just need to step up and help me get it back to the state it was in before this guy messed everything up. Their forums are literally filled with other people in similar situations who have been screwed over by Bungies "Security Policies" that seem to do more to help Bungie wipe its hands clean of any responsibility than to actually help secure our accounts if things go wrong for us. My Steam account is all fixed and good but as long as this Prestovsk guy has his other 2 accounts linked it doesn't matter what I do. I can even start from scratch but he can log in literally any time and just delete my characters again and again.

No it's ONLY about banning those accounts.

So it's been a week since my last inquiry into my Steam account getting hacked and the hacker linking their Epic Games and Xbox accounts to my Cross Save. No response from Epic Games or Microsoft on the matter as far as far as banning the offending accounts for hacking . Interesting that Bungie says "No Account Unlinking" but the Microsoft account that is linked to my cross save has a different user name on it now. The old "presto12365" Epic account still shows up but now Microsoft account is "F1ONTOPSIGMA" (instead of the old "PrestoSVK" account there a week ago). I'm at my wits end. 5 years of progress and I get it, I should have made sure my 2FA was all up to snuff but it feels so much like Bungies "Security Policies" only help Bungie avoid any responsibility or sense of obligation to help out customers after the customer messes up at all. The same hacker got into my Blizzard account as well and Blizzard was able to link my entire games library to a new email, transfer over all of my purchases and characters no problem and in no time at all so I could play my games on there again, Bungie accounts are THEIR property regardless of how we log into them. If they can ban Bungie accounts and characters they have more than enough ability to save them instead of hiding behind their own security policies as a way to avoid any culpability. I have lost all 3 of my characters and ANY progress I try to restart just gets deleted by the hacker the next day . All I want is to talk to someone directly at Bungie, show them that everything else has been fixed for 2FA and password changes other than this hacker's linked Microsoft and Epic accounts. This whole situation is like that triple Spider-Man meme where all 3 are pointing at the other saying "talk to them it isn't our problem". I don't know what to do anymore.
