Name Change
Hi! I am just one of many that was affected by the name clear. I've only played Destiny on Xbox and used my gamer tag as my Bungie profile. When I changed my Xbox gamer tag ages ago, I also used my one-time Bungie name change so they would match (DrewBud3325). I saw that allegedly another token has been sent to allow for a name change opportunity for those of us reset to Guardian, but I am being told that I can only change my Bungie name once. This happens even when I try a new variation of my gamer tag. Did I simply not receive a name change token, or am I misunderstanding that the token has not yet been sent?
There's no rush and appreciate all of the hard work everyone involved in working to resolve this issue, I'm just seeking a bit of clarity. Thanks in advance, I can handle being a Guardian among many for the time being while you figure things out!

1 OdpowiedźHey there, if you can enter a new name in the box, then you do have a token available. If you do not have name change tokens available, you cannot enter a new name at all, and it will say 'no name changes available' below in red text. What you're seeing is that the name you are trying, is being rejected by the filter. Bungie have acknowledged that not all names have been unlocked, from those that were unnecessarily changed, so that is most likely the reason why it is not saving for you, either your original name or variants.
