I find it funny that Chioma was completely irrelevant to the story. Seriously nothing different would have happened if she wasn’t there

She’s still very much the central motivation of Conductor during the Episode. It just goes to show how far she’s truly fallen and the reveal about what she’s done is theorised by the characters to be why Nessus has gone dormant after the final confrontation. I’m just happy we didn’t go the villain redemption route (again).

That’s very much my point. This Maya was just as bad as Clovis with her inhumane Veil experimentation. It’s the fact she was also deluding herself about Chioma even more than we initially thought.

That was the point. We thought Maya had some humanity in her left over and thought she was driven by just emotion and found out it was obsession and ruthless progression at all costs.
