If you have unlimited chances, I don't see the problem especially running Crota that most will know how to run in no time at all. You couldn't farm raids in D1 so think about that before you start complaining about "drop rates".
It took 9 months before I got Icebreaker and I had to buy it from Xur because of the RNG in D1, but not once did I come on this forum and complain about "not getting what I wanted" because of the RNG. You guys are worse than the D1 players and this is no joke either. BFD if it's not dropping like you people want. All of you should know by now how this business works, and if you don't, that is literally on you.
The problem is you guys wanted things yesterday and it's gotten worse with a lot of you these last couple of years. Think about this, Things can always be worse, you could be dealing with what I have to deal with in Waframe. I have to log in 365 times before I can get a mod to finish a build on a frame. So stop your complaining about petty BS.

What a terrible take and a holier than though, condescending attitude. I got necro during contest mode. I'm at 12/35 essence of oversouls and half of those or more came from 1 time only triumphs. This is with 5 clears so far. The drop rate is terrible and it's going to take people for ever even if they group up to farm an encounter over and over and over....which has never been fun. Same as going to shuro chi to farm kills for catalyst progression or weapon levels.. not fun, just tedious.

Most of the fanbois in here think tedious = content. This game has so many dumb RNG aspects that are just in place so that they can keep there Monthly Active Users up. Gaming in general -blam!- sucks right now because of the accountants running the gd companies. This includes Bungie. They don't have gamers running things, they have excel developers running things and it shows in the little tedious way they make you stay logged in.
